Cam’Ron & blackbear Link on “bright pink tims”
A fitting song title for the Harlem-based legend.
Cam’Ron achieved the conceivably impossible in the early 2000s: he made pink cool. So, it’s fitting that standout talent, blackbear, would recruit the Purple Haze for the former’s latest track, “bright pink tims”.
In full braggadocio mode, the two rap about being trend-setters and the apple of everyone’s eyes. Over Jesse “Corparal” Wilson and Rad Cat production, the two make for an interesting pairing, as they present stark stylistic differences that ironically mesh more than they clash.
