Hot! Bushwick Bill Passes Away At 52-Years-Old

Bushwick-Bill-2

RIP to a legend.

Bushwick Bill, the legendary artist of the Geto Boys, tragically passed away yesterday, June 9th. He was 52-years-old.

After an ongoing battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Bill, born Richard Stephen Shaw, succumbed to the disease. The Jamiacan MC is survived by his four children.

Throughout his storied career, in addition to being one-third of the Geto Boys, alongside Willie D and Scarface, Bushwick Bill released six solo studio albums, beginning with the 1992-released Little Big Man and finishing with the 2010 My Testimony of Redemption.

Our thoughts and prayers with Bill’s family and friends as they cope with this trying time.

RIP, Bushwick Bill. You will be missed and remembered.
