Bun B & Statik Selektah Release ‘TrillStatik’
The deluxe edition is now available on all streaming platforms.
Bun B and Statik Selektah are undisputed legends in their own right. The former one-half of the legendary UGK, the latter one of the game’s most impressive producers — now, together, they have linked for the collaborative TrillStatik (Deluxe Edition) album.
A star-studded affair, the TrillStatik album packages 14-tracks, 38-minutes, and features a collection of hip-hop royalty: from Method Man to Fat Joe, from Smoke DZA to Big K.R.I.T., artists who appreciate and purvey the Golden Age sound find a home on TrillStatik.
Although originally released on April 21st, it was a Tidal exclusive, and now is available on all streaming platforms. The original album, which was 10-tracks long, was recorded on April 10th during a YouTube live stream.
Released through Show Off and Empire, the Bun B x Statik joint endeavor marks their first collab — and hopefully not their last.
