Another collaborative initiative for the respected rhymer.

While he’s perhaps most regarded for his sublime collaborative work with Exile, the pensive rapper Blu is more than the vocal architect of the legendary Below The Heavens album. He’s enjoyed an impressive solo career, and continues working with other envelope-pushing talent. Most recently, the Inglewood native linked with Fat Jack on the joint endeavor, Underground Makes The World Go Round.

A seven-track EP, the 17-minute offering not only is a suturing of Fat Jack’s production and Blu’s rapping, but also features the likes of Cashus King, Abstract Rude, and more.

Underground Makes The World Go Round marks Blu’s fourth collaborative 2019 project; it’s preceded by True & Livin’ (with Exile), A Long Red Hot Los Angeles Summer Night (with Oh No), and Ground & Water (with Damu The Fudgemunk).
