It looks as if Jadakiss is taking notes from his LOX compadre Styles P and even Brooklyn’s Fabolous for his latest freestyle “Where I’m From.” Jadakiss has linked up with The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy for a weekly freestyle session. Jay Z’s “Glory” (a tribute to his daughter Blue Ivy Carter) was penned back in 2012 and now with his Tidal streaming service Jay is making the visuals exclusive to users only. As of right now, unless you’ve got a subscription to Tidal, you cannot watch the video. However, we’re sure in a few minutes it’ll be available online for your viewing pleasure. The mysterious Jay Electronica has shared a new track entitled “Road to Perdition.” The song features a sample of Jay-Z’s “Success” from his 2007 album American Gangster. No word as to whether or not this track will appear on a new Jay Electronica project, which has been in limbo since forever ago. This is the first new song Jay Electronica has shared since last year’s “Better in Tune With the Infinite.” He is also starring in the film Into the Light which is scheduled to be released this year. Rick Ross’ forthcoming studio album Hood Billionaire is due out November 24th and today he shares his Timbaland produced, Jay Z featured track “Movin’ Bass”. The track finds Ross delivering some fiery street verses and Jay handling the hook (yep, the hook) and it’s a pretty dope cut despite no actual verse from Hova. Listen after the jump.
