    Kanye West – Yeezus Album Listening Session

    Kanye hosted a private listening session last night in an open-air loading dock in NYC for his upcoming album, Yeezus, dropping June 18th. He didn’t play all the songs but he broke down the concept and marketing strategy. Also attenting the event were Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes and more.     Kanye’s “Yeezus” Album Driving Def Jam Crazy?

     

    According to the NY Post, Kanye’s Yeezus album is driving Def Jamp execs crazy.

    Sources exclusively tell us that last week — just two weeks before the album drops — West brought in legendary producer Rick Rubin to help lay down additional tracks for the record, and Def Jam execs spent the week haggling over rights for a vocal he used on his song “Onsite.”

    “Even by Kanye West standards, this is pushing it,” said a music industry source.

    Chief Keef Confirms Feature on Kanye West’s “Yeezus” Album

     

    Chief Keef was in NYC to promote his new”Beats By Keef” headphones and he confirmed his presence on Kanye West’s upcoming “Yeezus” album. “I’m on it,” Keef said, “I don’t know what the song’s called but it’s a hot song.”
