Gangsta Gibbs is back. (more…)
Freddie Gibbs is sharing another track from his forthcoming new album, Shadow of a Doubt, which is officially dropping tomorrow (November 20th). This time Gangsta Gibbs is linking up with Gucci Mane and E-40 for “10 Times,” produced by Sid “Speakerbomb” Miller. The track is the third cut Gibbs has shared from Shadow of a Doubt — following “Fuckin’ Up the Count,” “Extradite” featuring Black Thought, and “Packages” featuring ManMan Savage. Hit the jump to bump Gibbs’ “10 Times” featuring Big Guwop and 40 Water.
After sharing “Fuckin’ Up the Count” last month, Indiana’s first rate emcee Freddie Gibbs — returning under the Gangsta Gibbs moniker — is sharing two new cuts from his forthcoming, highly-anticipated new mixtape, Shadow of a Doubt. The pair of tracks, “Extradite” (featuring Black Thought) and “Packages”, showcases Gibbs’ rough around the edges sound — all the way down to the banging, menacing production — which is a welcome return following his excursions with Madlib on Pinata. Both tracks, along with “Fuckin’ Up the Count” will appear on Gibbs’ Shadow of a Doubt, arriving November 20th via ESGN. Listen to “Extradite” and “Packages” after the jump.
Fans rejoice! Freddie Gibbs has announced the release of a new album, and has shared its first teaser, ”Fuckin’ Up the Count”. Freddie — returning as ”Gangsta” Gibbs — will release his new album, Shadow of a Doubt, on November 20th. And the album is already supported by a single, ”Fuckin’ Up the Count”, which is produced by Boi-1da. While we patiently wait for that faithful November day, we have ”Fuckin Up the Count” to hold us over — after the jump!
Here’s a pleasant surprise for you this Monday morning: Freddie Gibbs dropped a 3-song EP entitled Pronto. This is the first Gibbs project since 2014’s The Tonite Show with The Worlds Freshest. The production on Pronto is by Big Pops and Mikhail. Stream the entire project after the jump.
The hyperkinetic and frantic collaboration between Young Thug, A$AP Ferg and Freddie Gibbs “Old English” receives a fittingly odd and offbeat animated visual treatment a la that of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Check out the colorful video for “Old English” after the jump.
