Drake, who is now the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, talks about his love for Toronto as the new NBA season starts.
“In everything I do, I try to channel this city,” Drake says, to a score of moody strings and piano. “I always feel like an album is finished when it sounds like Toronto.”
The unreleased song was played by Drake’s DJ at the Barclays Center earlier this week and now the Toronto rapper talks about the Hit-Boy produced “Trophies” and says he will drop it very soon.
Last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Drake’s DJ Future The Prince previewed an unreleased song titled ‘Trophies.’

According to Page Six, Future has been kicked off Drake’s Would You Like A Tour tour following a statement he made during a Billboard magazine interview. Associate editor Erika Ramirez published a story with quotes from Future, which she also posted on her Twitter feed:
“Not only is future’s #honest album interesting, so are his thoughts on Drake’s #NWTS album,” Ramirez wrote. She then went on to quote Future: “ ‘Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do’ — Future.”
