You’ve dropped three quality installments of The Haze Diaries. Are you happy with the response you’ve gotten so far?

Yeah. We’re happy with the reception. We’ve been doing them just to do them as fun giveaway projects. Me and Quickie Mart decided we were going to do it and give it away for free. We figured why not give them enough stuff for free so that when we do start selling it they’ll support?

You’re doing an entire project with producer Stu Bangas. How did that come together?

Well, Stu got at me over the net. He reached out and we did a couple joints. And then I was feeling his style so, you know, he wanted to do a couple joints together and he said he wanted to do some shit with me and I was like, ‘Oh, word.’ I’m always looking for new talent and new producers to fuck with anyway so we ended up doing a nice little project.

Some may know him, some may not but ever since the first time I heard Chaundon on Little Brother's 2005 classic album, The Minstrel Show, I've been a fan of his work. Whenever he was featured on a song you knew he would bring punchlines, energetic rhymes, and comedy. Chaundon released his debut album, "Carnage" in February 2008 and on October 26th, 2010, Chaundon will finally release his second studio album simply titled… "No Excuses".

Nottz

When most artists tell you that you need their music, you’re probably most likely to give the artist a half-hearted shrug and make your way to the nearest exit. However, when it’s a legendary producer who has crafted hits for artists like Busta Rhymes and Snoop Dogg, you’re probably going to stop whatever it is you’re doing and give said producer the time of day. At least that’s what legendary producer Nottz is hoping as he prepares his debut album, You Need This Music, due out October 12 on Raw Koncept.
