Biggie Gets Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace left an indelible mark on hip-hop — both throughout his young career and beyond. A molding force of the genre, Biggie’s style and poetic wordplay have been paramount in hip-hop’s current commercial success. Now, his legacy will be enshrined forever, as he’s officially been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Biggie’s induction marks only the Hall’s second rapper selection, joining him with former friend turned adversary, Tupac Shakur.

The 2020 Class also includes Whitney Houston, The Doobie Brothers, T. Rex, and Nine Inch Nails.
