Griselda Gang’s Conway has been on a roll in 2017. After him and his peers had been grinding arduously, and seemingly endlessly, Conway and Westside Gunn inked deals with Eminem’s Shady Records. Recently, it was announced that Griselda Gang will be hitting the road this fall with famed New York group, The Lox. Now, Conway teamed up with Lloyd Banks for the track, “Bullet Club”, as well as Benny.
A fitting duo, Conway and Lloyd both bring a tenacity to the track with their lyrical grit and hard-hitting punchlines. They both have this authentic ruggedness that bleeds into their words, making them believable figures in this sometimes fabricated landscape.
“Bullet Club” sets an ominous tone from the start with gritty piano notes that are met with eery, pounding drums. This production supports the menacing lyrical onslaught offered by the trio, which details how one’s improper moves could land them in an early grave.
