Video: Fabolous – “We Good” feat. Rich Homie Quan

    fabolous-wegood-slide1

Back in August, Fabolous released a loosie track — entitled ”Gone for the Winter” — and he’s kept quiet since. Fittingly, just as the temperature’s rising, Fab is back with the heat the fans desperately needed. Teaming up with Atlanta’s Rich Homie Quan, Fabolous goes full Dead Presidents in the visuals for ”We Good” — a track that first appeared on his Young OG Project last year. Additionally, the grim visuals (featuring face paint and shootouts) are apt for Halloween, which is tomorrow! Fab has also teased at the notion of dropping a new project, Summertime Shootout, but we’ve yet to hear anything from that. In the meantime, check out Fabolous’ ”We Good” video featuring Rich Homie Quan after the jump.

New Music: Sheek Louch – “Sucka Free” feat. Jadakiss

With Halloween just around the corner, rap music is already preparing itself for the festivities. Rightfully so, it’s a season that’s ripe for conceptually interesting rap music. There’s even an entire subgenre within rap which, lest we forget, brazenly deals with the macabre. Although Sheek Louch makes rap music far from the ”horrorcore” style, his latest cut, ”Sucka Free” — featuring fellow D-Block rapper Jadakiss, no less — is a clinical bloodbath. Sheek makes work of the song, which is backed by a jagged and distorted beat. Additionally, Jadakiss’ guest spot — while perfectly adequate — discovers the Brooklyn emcee getting into holiday season early with an equally wicked verse. Check out Sheek Louch’s ”Sucka Free” from his forthcoming Gorillaween mixtape dropping October 31st.

New Music: Rick Ross – “Stick Talk” (Remix)

After sharing his take on Post Malone’s ”White Iverson” yesterday, Rick Ross returns with something a little bit more ”form fitting”, so to speak. Future, whose Monster mixtape turns one today (read a retrospective on it here), dropped his excellent DS2 album over the summer, which has apparently prompted Rozay to jump on one of its standout tracks, ”Stick Talk”. The track finds Rozay comfortably seated in the cockpit, and spitting bars over the high-energy Southside production. Additionally, Ross will be dropping his own album, Black Market, shortly. In the meantime, give his take on Future’s ”Stick Talk” after the jump.

New Music: Chance the Rapper – ”Angels” feat. Saba

    chance-colbert

Chance the Rapper is keeping active, to say the least. Fresh off a critically-acclaimed mixtape and tour, the Chicago spitter is sharing a brand new song. Of course, being the unpredictable character that he is, Chance’s new song has a bit of a backstory. Last week, Chance praised one Stephen Colbert — yes, the talk show host — for his exceptional musical chops (calling him ”amazing”, in the process), and sharing little else about a ”secret song” between the two. And after his performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (you may watch the performance here), Chance is wasting no time in sharing the new track. In addition to featuring Saba on the mic, ”Angels” is written and performed by Chance, Lido, Peter Cottontale, Nate Fox, and Donnie Trumpet (for The Social Experiment) — sorry, no Stephen Colbert on an MPC here, folks. Check out the new Chance the Rapper track, ”Angels”, after the jump. Also, the track is available for free through iTunes — get it here!
