    Video: Julian Stephen – “Get It Together”

    “Sophisticated Thoughts,” “Simple Minds,” “Disney Kids.” Those are just a few cuts Queens rapper Julian Stephen has delivered as of late. And we here at iHipHop believe if you haven’t yet gotten yourself acquainted with him click on those hyperlinks and do so! Because 2015 is looking to be Julian Stephens’ year to prove his worth to the industry as he drops off the visuals for “Get It Together,” a short but somber effort akin to Chicago’s psychedelic superstar Chance The Rapper. With “Get It Together” Julian showcases his witty yet positive lyricism all with his head firmly on his shoulders.     New Music: Julian Stephen – “Disney Kids” (Freestyle)

    If you haven’t been paying attention to Queens, New York spitter Julian Stephen then you’re doing yourself a serious disservice. Julian capped off 2014 with some dope cuts like the on-max-chill “Sophisticated Thoughts” and the follow-up “Simple Minds” which found Julian rapping over Nas’ “Nas Is Like” instrumental. But on his first offering of 2015, Julian Stephen goes a little harder. “Disney Kids” has Julian going in, freestyling over a tough and atmospheric beat. “Disney Kids” is the perfect middle ground for those looking for someone to sit comfortably between the popiness of Drake and the raw, emotional intensity of J.     New Music: Joey Bada$$ – “Run Up on Ya” feat. Action Bronson & Elle Varner (Prod. Statik Selektah)

    The wait is finally coming to an end as Joey Bada$$’ much anticipated debut album B4.DA.$$ is set to drop Tuesday (January 20th) and Joey has already shared a few tracks from the album in “No. 99” and “On and On.” Now he’s sharing one with fellow New Yorker (who also has an album on the way) Action Bronson.
