While Bobby Shmurda and his GS9 mates are still locked up behind bars that hasn’t stopped them from going full Gucci Mane on everybody by dropping tracks while incarcerated. Little is known as far as their legal situation (although it is said that their bail has been denied and many attempts to revoke the decision have been put in place) but as far as music they’ve been steadily releasing some new material to keep their names buzzing in them streets (and blogs, I guess.) Fabolous’ ongoing #FridayNightFreestyles has been a relative success thus far but with this new one right here it’s either make it or break it for how you feel about Loso. Sure, he’s already gone over an undisputed classic in his “B.A.S.” freestyle but Mobb Deep’s 1994 cut “Shook Ones Pt. II” is a milestone/watershed moment for hip-hop. It’s such a statement in hip-hop culture that even one iconic Detroit rapper Eminem has stated numerous times that its had a profound impact on him. In fact, you may recall Eminem’s “B-Rabbit” character from 8 Mile rapping over the track during his final freestyle battle. Anyway, if Loso doesn’t deliver and do this classic instrumental justice then his whole #FridayNightFreestyles is moot. You be the judge after the jump.

Bodega BAMZ’ forthcoming project Sidewalk Exec is due out April 14th and having already previewed “Billy Bats” BAMZ is returning with a Flatbush ZOMBiES featured cut. “Bring ‘Em Out” reunites with his fellow New Yorkers (BAMZ from Harlem, ZOMBiES from Brooklyn) over Tan Boy regular V’Don’s production.
