To paraphrase rap immortal ODB, N.O.R.E. and HipHopGame are for the children. Those close to me know that not only do I work hard on the keyboard, but I also teach middle school special education. I’ve got an amazing group of kids, some with autism, others with learning disabilities, who bring passion and energy in everything they set out to accomplish. I’m trying to expand their world even more with a 3D printer, which will give them a new range of skills and the opportunity to create some awesome masterpieces. The project link below gives more detailed information.
N.O.R.E.’s teaming up with me to make this happen for my kids by offering to do a custom voicemail or drop for anyone who donates at least $20 to the project. “I was always in special ed,” N.O.R.E. said. “Anything that’s gonna help the kids, I’m with it.”
You can read a more in-depth description of the project on DonorsChoose. To donate, please click the green “Give” button. You don’t have to sign up for an account or anything complicated either. Any help is much appreciated, as these are kids who don’t always get the opportunities kids in other programs get.
When you make your donation, please leave some form of contact in the comment box, whether it’s a Twitter ID or an email address, so N.O.R.E. and I can make sure you get your voicemail or drop.
Thank you for any support you can give. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email at seven3zero [at] gmail [dot] com.
