Back in 1996 Shaquille O’Neal dropped his You Can’t Stop the Reign album and despite a whopping seventeen tracks there was one that was conspicuously missing. “The Bigger They R”, featuring Fat Joe, Big Pun and Easy Mo Bee didn’t make the cut due to legal reasons unbeknownst to us. • Armageddon – The ProfileWild Interview

    Armageddon - The ProfileWild Interview

Fat Joe always referred to Armageddon as the most loyal member of the Terror Squad clique, a high honor at the time, but in retrospect meant there was never a sense of urgency to put out Geddy’s music. Being down with Fat Joe led to Armageddon seeing the Terror Squad truly come together and fall apart, from the addition of Big Pun to the departure of Cuban Link. Not only did every single he drop strike radio gold, but he had a solid team around him, and, more valuable than all of that, Ja had perfected the rap and R&B crossover that 50 would soon take for himself, minus corny J.Lo cameos.
