Thru aka Thruway has had a habit of killing every beat he’s touched. Currently working with SP Killa, who has produced some of N.O.R.E.’s best work, Thru proves that he’s keeping his streak alive.
Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar have both had themselves a very busy 2015 thus far. For Kendrick he’s dropped his highly-anticipated sophomore studio album in To Pimp a Butterfly and Kanye has kept himself busy with fashion, multiple interviews, “All Day”, a guest verse here and there and his new album So Help Me God is forthcoming. And now the two join forces on ‘Ye’s “All Day” remix. Kendrick Lamar provides a full verse despite the inital leak only containing a part of it. You can check out Kendrick’s full verse on ‘Ye’s “All Day” after the jump.
The world is fiending for some new Kanye West. “Only One” wasn’t enough. “All Day” wasn’t enough. His guest appearance on Big Sean’s new album wasn’t enough. Everyone waiting for that So Help Me God to drop. Whenever that’ll happen. If ever. And now the song Vic Mensa has been teasing for over month is finally here. “U Mad” is a collaborative track between Mensa and ‘Ye. It features production from ‘Ye, Mike Dean, Smoko Ono, Stefan Ponce and Charlie Heat. That’s a whole lot of muscle to come up with such a deceptively simple track that sounds like it’s fit more for 2012 than 2015. Anyway, I won’t judge. You be the judge. Check it out after the jump.
