NYC-based
duo Remix Da Kickz has been doin' it for a few years,
customizing sneakers for lots of celebrities. Now they've inked a
deal with Nike to release some new colorways. Props
to them cause that's a power move but honestly Methamphibian
is a better customizer and comes up with the hottest designs.

Here
are the Lebron James sneakers to be released by Nike
this wednesday (11/05). No word though if this is limited to a few
selected stores. The name of the shoes is the Zoom Flight
Generations and the date of Lebron's first NBA game is sticked
on the side. The design and look of the shoe were inspired by James'
$100,000 Hummer H2, which his mother bought for him for his 18th birthday
last December. Price should be around $120. These
should be interesting to cop if Lebron has a career à la Michael
Jordan....

Winter
and below zero temperatures are just around the corner so you wanna
stay warm in the classic North Face Mc Murdo parka.
The detachable fur trim can keep your face warm, or you can detach
the hood and use the fur to line the collar. Chest pockets, a sleeve
pocket, lower hand pockets and cargo pockets give you more than enough
room to carry your essentials. An interior personal audio pocket and
hidden ID or cell phone pocket help you keep your valuables safe.

You've
seen rappers from Jay-Z to Fabolous rock Von Dutch
hats or T Shirts, this seems to be the new trend right now so if you
wanna more about the man check the bio : Von Dutch was born Kenneth Howard in Los Angeles
on 7 September 1929. His father, Wally, was a well respected sign
painter who has created the famous Western Exterminator logo. The
senior Howard was also on call to gold leaf the names on the doors
of LA’s City Hall. By the age of ten the younger Howard was
able to paint and letter on a professional level. The nickname “Dutch”
was given to him early on by family members, who found him “stubborn
as a Dutchman.” Living in the suburb of Compton, Von Dutch was
exposed to numerous influences. As a youth he would bring bits of
tile and broken bottles for Simon Rodia to use in building the Watts
Towers folk art environment. Local nightclubs in the area such as
the Barrel House were showcases for the then-emergent musical form
of modern jazz. (Throughout his life, Von Dutch was an avid music
aficionado and an accomplished flautist.) At Compton High School,
he excelled in track and field and later recalled being called “the
fastest man in LA.”

drop next month, perfect for the fall ! Hopefully
Nike will start using colors like they do on Dunks...

Each
Year, Nike releases its Chinese signs series for the Nike Air Force
1. This year was Year of the Goat, next year will be Year
of the Monkey.
The Year of the Horse (2000) saw 2 different editions, this year's
Goat was a little bit too plain (White/Orange/Ice Sole). These should
drop next year, first in Asia, then in the US.

Question
: Why does Nike keep releasing its NYC series in
Europe only? Anyhow, this one is pretty dope, combination of mesh
and leather.
