1) What's up Q? What have you been working on lately? 

the wavetwisters movie. it made it to the sundance film festival which is huge! check out wavetwisters-themovie.com also doing skratches for d-styles' new album. his music is on a different planet in the skratch world and music world!

2)The rumor has it that the former Skratch Piklz (including you) are working with a DJ from the old school who's had an incredible impact on them, is it true? If it is, could you give us a hint on who this DJ is? 

ya, there's a hole bunch of styles that make up his styles and a whole new system that we have to reteach ourselves. i can't say much right now because as always we want to wait until the time is right. 

3) Can you tell us a bit about Wavetwisters the movie? Also a lot of people from around the world want to know if it will be released as a videotape soon since it might not be released everywhere... 

wavetwisters is a graffiti animated skratch movie about an innerspace dentist who wants to teach his universe about the lost arts of hip-hop. he and his team are being pursued by the red worm who wants to control the universe by capturing the "wave twister" (a wristwatch turntable that can destroy anything with sound). and of course it will be on video and dvd. it's too detailed not to be on that format. 

4) Speaking of movies, have you seen Scratch, the film? do you think it's gonna be a classic like "Wildstyle"? 

definitely! it too along with my movie are in the sundance film festival! it's just like style wars, but it's all about skratching and i think it's so much better!

5) Are you working on a special scratch/effect/combo ?
just working to flow in and out of any skratch that i make up as well as the ones from the past and incorporating other's ideas too. 

6) What do you think of the Focus Fader? have you tried it? 

it's great but i haven't played with it too much to really say. i do love the new vestax isp pro mixer's fader because of the bounce it has. 


7) Besides Skratchcon.com what other websites do you check first when your surf the internet? 

ebay, djqbert.com and spiritweb.org 

8) Which songs play on heavy rotation in your headphones? 

right now: chester and lester by chet atkins and les paul 

9) Can we expect Q Bert on a Playstation 2 game soundtrack? 

ya, if there's a wave twisters video game!
