Whoo Kid & Mobb Deep - G Unit Radio 17

I've been scratching my veins waiting for some new Mobb Deep to drop. They could have dropped this with DJ Finch for all I care. I'm looking at the short tracklist (as usual) and I see some familiar tracks but I also see some new shit. This "new shit" is what keeps Whoo Kid on top of his promo game and what keeps me coming back as a listener. By the way, who the fuck is this cat Nyce? I guess we'll find out.

Havoc is one of my favorite cats in all of hip hop, straight up. He stepped up his rhyme game plus he soley crafted the Mobb Deep sound from day one. Can anyone say "Solo Album"? "I Smack A Ho" caught my ear. I'm not gonna say it's some classic shit but it def is Mobb Deep music. I'm not diggin' "Mr. Potato Head". I mean I see what they were trying to do but let it go already, shit. Now back to classic music. The Mobb Deep "freestyle" got me fiendin' like the Infamous Album just came out for the first time. Havoc is hitting cats in the head on this man. Keeping with that true mixtape music, "Shot Down" was that rock you in your nose bone music. This cat Nyce is decent, I don't like that name though, shit is wack. Prodigy rhyming over "Fireman" got me working our the FF button, the hook is laughable. I can fuck with "Roll Up" though, shit got me burning a little kush on the highway.

The shit that is fucking my head up is why they got this cat Nyce on here when you already had an lyrical assasain in Big Noyd. Too much P not enough H but I'm still cop'n their new album when it drops. The CD is def lovely promo through and through. I still think this CD could have been better but fuck it, shit was a decent listen. I'm bout to go listen to that Lazy K & Mobb Deep CD right now because I still need a fix.

2 1/2 tapes
