Lazy
K - Best of Dipset
Not to sound lame
but it's good to hear Lazy K's voice again. I fiend for the days of Butta Mixin
Rican, Nonsense Pt. 4, Fuck Clue and even NYC/NJ Connection. Those days are
gone people (sheds tear). Enough about the past, it's done, over, time to move
on. I fuck with DipSet, they always have bangin' production and Hell Rell and
J.R Writer are the sleeper MCs of 2006. I hope Lazy K can add her flair to the
mix and make this CD better than the other 50 best of Dipset mixtape that have
come out in the last year.
"Cold Rockin"
mix was cool as a fan. Stack Bundles on this track ate Jim Jones, just my opinion.
J.R Writer with "Major Paper" had me bouncing through the city like
I was smoked up lovely. Hell Rell spits on "Head Poped Off": "I'm
the fuckin' truth/ I ain't got to lie to ya'll/ pop up - white range the color
tylenol." This the best track on the whole CD hands down, J.R Writer and
Hell Rell trading verses is that raw off the corner music. Just llike Nucci
Reyo said on his freestyle, him and J.R Writer on a beat is like "cop'n
that piff from papi".
Lazy K always had
exclusive freestyles and bangin' blends. That trend continues with this CD given
the freestyles and one or two mixes, it's just the updated 2006 version. The
game isn't the same but like I stated it's good Ms. K is back to form. Plus
the cover was straight, which is an improvement over past releases. I hope this
is a sign Lazy K will be dropping more CDs in the future and that the skills
will show more and more with each release. Look for Dip Set to have a big year
too, who besides me is fiendin' for the J.R Writer and Hell Rell albums?
