I'm not from BK,
but I feel those dudes. FAB is like 50 to me. I love dudes swagger before he
got that paper. When he was broke and spitting at HOT 97 on Monday nights for
CLUE, I was impressed. I didn't catch his first appearance, but damn near everyone
after that. When his album dropped, SWAZO (my brother) was all over that shit.
He didn't hit the streets without it. For me, it wasn't the same shit that he
dropped on mixtapes. It wasn't wack, but it definitely wasn't what I expected.
That's when I realized that cats make mixtapes to get on or to keep the streets
thirsty like a curb general straight off that KUSH. Singles are for "Susie
break my back". Hence FAB always hitting us in the head with that nonsense.
When the kid got with JUST BLAZE and dropped "BREATHE", I thought
it was the best record he ever made. I know it probably wouldn't have worked
well as far as sales go, but I'd love to hear him drop an album strictly for
the freestyle heads. It'll never happen, so fans of the spit will have to be
satisfied with "LOSO'S WAY".
We all know CLUE isn't the most creative dude, but it was surprising to hear
him include movie clips instead of his trademark shout, space and the following
track. Starting the CD with the mariachi playing was an improvement. Can I tell
you what that had to do with the release? HEEEEEELLLL NO! But it was fly none
the less. FAB easily makes us forget about the freestyle MASON spit about him
on "LOSO'S WAY FREESTYLE". The official "get in the muthafuckin
car track" is "CAN I LIVE" featuring RANSOM, PAUL CAIN, STACK
BUNDLES and JAZ. I wouldn't be DIMEZ if I didn't tell you about the bullshit.
"BABY (rmx)" made me want to run up on FAB and kick him in the nutz
for putting this bullshit on "LOSO'S WAY". Bless the "yookers"
with that shit when the album comes out. FAB even took it to the SOUTH when
he rode "SMOKIN & SIPPIN" alongside PAUL CAIN and MAGNIFICENT.
Damn, I forgot to say that is a CHOPS production. If you want more info, cop
this muthafucka. Who said NY Hip Hop was dead?
