Clue -Fidel Cashflow 2006 - New Regime
Sometimes it's
not always best to drop first, ya feel me? Do you remember KaySlays "Down
With The King 3"? I didn't think so. You still might be bumping the Big
Mike BBG 10.5 but once you saw this Clue CD dropped you replaced that quick
fast or at least you plan too. It's the nature of the beast people, accept it
and move on. Remember I said something about timing? hmmmmm. Plus the package
is tight, admit that too because if you don't have the total package your just
going local as opposed to global. I ain't lying.
The shit that truly
got me amped was that Ransom and Stack Bundles were heavy on this CD. NY music
is not in bad shape, the N-Y re-evolution continues while the city is cooking
up some lovely meals for the masses. While Hell Rell says he's the hardest in
NY, Ransome may just be the realest. He's verse on "You Don't Want That"
is that kiwi green with a "bodega flow". Peep the IPod to hear what
I mean. Is that Big Noyd? Word! This is that exclusive shit people, too bad
the hook needed a little work but I'll take it. I'm not even gonna comment on
"When Animals Attack 2" it speaks for itself, just look at the MCs
featured. Red Cafe is right there holding down the N-Y re-evolution, "Bling
Blao 2" is a lyrical display of NY swagger at it's best. "Talking
All That" with Stack Bundles will snap your neck, straight up; call the
chiropractor already. Clue got the best remix I heard of "Yo" by Chris
Brown and the shit got Ransom laying down jewels on the track. Sleeper track
on this CD is Magno. This cat got me thinking he's the Kool G Rap of the south......I
know, a bold statement or it could be the lisp.
DJ Clue is def
starting out strong for the year. The frequency might not be the same as it
once was but the potency is probably greater given the state hip hop music is
in as a whole. All hail the commander and chief of the exclusive. The New Regime
starts now. (2-10-06)
