Wow. So Green Lantern is done with Shady. It's real interesting how this shit
went down. So Jada films himself talking to Green Lantern on speakerphone? Wow.
Who does that? I feel bad for Green because he's talking to Jada and Jada's
basically playing him. How can anyone trust Jadakiss. Shit Green Lantern did
the Jadakiss tape! If it wasn't for that, Jada never woulda did the numbers
he did, which still weren't all that good. Jadakiss man that was grimy. Didn't
Green get you mixtape artist of the year or something like that at those awards,
and you're gonna play dude like that? Maaaan...that's how grimy this Hip Hop
shit gets…it's fuckin sad though. If everything went down the way Green
Lantern's sayin it did, then there is no loyalty at all…oh yeah and did
anyone see Jada get punked? "The driver has the keys. The driver has the
keys!" After the Green Lantern situation and Punked, I think it's safe
to say Jadakiss is not a people's person.
And if that's not
enough drama, how about the Copywrite-Camu shit. Damn. Beef is ugly in rap,
but when it's two backpackers, it's even uglier. Girrrlll Figghhhtttttt!!!!
I can't believe people are talking about the shit like there's a winner. There
is no winner. They're both losers in this situation!!! I think Copywrite is
a dope artist, but the fact that those pictures got up and Camu or whoever it
is is spreading shit about Copy does not help. And Copy did not help himself
by wearing brass knuckles. I think his video helped him though. Dude did not
look beat up. If Camu didn't get touched then his picture woulda been all over.
You know Camu and the Whethermen can't be doing well if they have to start a
beef with Copywrite. Honestly I feel bad for dude in a way, because he's doing
well right now, he's got his mixtape "Cruise Control" out, he's doing
a mixtape with Sickamore…and wrestling with Camu Tao!!! That is not cool.
If the shit went down the way Copy and Catalyst told me, then Camu needs to
seriously check himself. If you're gonna choose to have a beef with someone,
go for someone who's more well-known than Copywrite. I mean, shit, can't you
at least go for a Diplomat? How funny would it have been to see Camu swinging
his backpack at Juelz? Maybe cuz I'm mad tired I'm the only one that finds that
funny, but I think that would be hilarious. Or they should go for Immortal Technique.
I'd bet my autographed Lil Flip CD that Immortal Technique could stomp the whole
Whethermen clique at once. Then he'd spit an acapella while they're all lying
on the ground. Then outta nowhere Diabolic would run their pockets and bounce.
The Whethermen are lucky they didn't fuck with the Demigodz. Celph Titled woulda
blown up their minivans before they even got to the parking lot. Hip Hop is
at a low-point this week…damn. Jadakiss taping conversations and Copywrite
fighting Camu.

many good things to talk about…
First thing, Just
Blaze and the Clipse came down to VA for a show…my boy who did the show
wasn't around…so I hit Just on my fuckin sidekick and he comes out and
gets me and my boys in…shit was crazy...that shit just blew my mind…one
minute I'm waitin at the door, then Just comes out with his chains and LRG shit
and thanks me for the support on HHG for Saigon…in all honesty, that shit
just felt good.
You know what else
was crazy? Our Joell Ortiz interview. You see how he talks about the allhiphop
ban, then they diss him in their rumor section, then they re-run his interview.

Does anyone care
about Lil Kim going to jail. Personally, I really don't give a fuck. Look at
all the negative messages she sends to girls…you know how many girls she
probably fucked up. Think about it, if you got a lil sister, would you want
her listening to Lil Kim? Fuck no. And don't give me shit about her "opening
the door for females." No. MC Lyte helped do that. Jean Grae is a decent
role model. Rappers overall should not be role models though. It's a shame that
they are. How many of these rappers care about kids? For real, think about it…At
least a lot of athletes set up charitys and scholarship funds…
Yo being broke
is bad enough…when other people make you feel bad it sucks even more. I
was walking to class the other day, and this chick was working a cancer fundraiser.
I've lost family to cancer, as I'm sure everyone else has. I just did not have
any money. I'm 20 feet away, and she recognizes me. "Hey Brian give a dollar
for cancer!" I was so close to just walking away and pretending that I
didn't hear her…but it was too late for that. I put my hands in the air
trying to tell her I don't got anything…she doesn't believe me. "At
least give some change!" Damn. Now I'm getting pissed and I don't give
a fuck. I tell the chick I got no dough and keep walking. I hear her yell back
"It's for testicular cancer!" What the fuck. People are stupid.
The Beanie album
is dope though. "One Shot Deal" with Redman is crazy. Redman needs
to stop doing mixtapes and come back with another album. His career has been
steadily declining…I mean shit, he was on the MTV show "Trippin"
with Cameron Diaz. I also saw the one with Bentley…you know, Puffy's fag…he
definitely lived up to his gayness on the show.

noticed that BET sucks more now than it ever has?
Isn't it sad that
rappers can get a buzz off of being on a DVD despite the fact that they've never

sad? McDonald's is paying for rappers to say Big Mac in their rhymes and Kanye
and Busta have agreed to say it. What the fuck will these people do for money?

Also some good
news is that Lenny S, one of the first Roc dudes, left the sinking-boat that
is Virgin. Thank God! Lenny S is back at Def Jam where he should be. Virgin
sucks ass. I mean shit, if your head is Jermaine Dupri, how good can shit be.
He's responsible for Kris Kross and J-Kwon. That dude should be banned just
for that. And then biting Run-DMC to help Mariah…that fucking blows. Stop
stealing shit Jermaine. That's why Hip Hop needs a jail. Jermaine should get
25 to life.
On a better note,
I definitely recommend copping the new Zion I album. That shit is just dope.
It's some real laid-back music that sounds like no other albums out right now.
The Likwit Junkies shit is ok too…I like both Babu and Defari…
