Speaking of
Royce, his new M.I.C. mixtape is crazy. “Buzzin” is one
of the best songs he’s ever done…but the new new shit from Royce
is supposed to be even crazier…
As I started last
year, I did Hip Hop week again at my school. There were some
real hot events. One night, University professors Corey Walker and Kevin Everson
broke down the Hip Hop music video. It’s real interesting to hear an academic
and scholarly opinion on something we never think of studying. Another night
Hugh “H-Dollar” Mulzac of AMG Entertainment came down and we did
a “Hip Hop 101” sponsored by Akademiks. Then Nick Fury and his Burglar
squad, Chief Kamachi and State Store from Good Hands Records, and Born Unique
and DJ Rerok came down to do a show, which was banging. Big thanks to everyone
that came down, H-Dollar, Truth, Kamachi, State Store, Nick Fury and his Burglers,
Rerok and Born Unique…shit was definitely hot!
Immortal
Technique’s getting down with Babygrande…we’ll see
how that works out…Hopefully he’ll get the exposure he needs to
really blow up now…
Why is everyone

And why is P.
Diddy telling everyone to vote? If it wasn’t for that MTV air
time he woulda been making a new “I Need a Girl” remix or somethin…Just
because P Diddy is tellin me to vote, I’m not gonna. I had my registration
shit all filled out til he fucked it up.

for winning a battle against a bunch of suckers...real props go to Jin for winning…but
beating Shells is no claim to fame. I heard Wrekonize choked up there…but
Jin walked away with 50K…Now we can all learn Chinese!
Master
P’s trying to play basketball again. Next thing you know he’ll
be trying to rap again. Master P was successful in the industry, but he’s
past his time now. Yo P, let your son do his thing, fall back, and count your
money. We’re all tired of you now. Make em say Ugggggghhhhhhh!
I guess Yukmouth
and Game wanted to be friends again…you know
where you heard their peace track first. Don’t expect Game to make piece
with Jersey City’s favorite rapper though.
The more new stuff
I hear from Stimuli, the more depressed I get. His older tracks
were fire…the new stuff just doesn’t hit like his older mixtapes.
Saigon
on the other hand, his shit is crazy. His deal still isn’t official, regardless
of what you heard.
Jean Grae’s
album is out…support her and cop “This Week.”
