Whats really really really good... First off gotta send a shout out to Samantha Ronson and the good folks at the Roc, she came through my radio show last week and it was crazy. In case you've been sleeping, Samantha is the younger sister of DJ Mark ROnson, and she's the first rock and roll artist signed to the Roc. Her music is dope too, especially her 99 Problems Remix that her brother produced. She came through, did a couple segments, then did a show that was sick. And to be honest that was my first rock show and I actually enjoyed it...she got a mixtape coming soon too... Also, is Dave Chapelle gonna be the downfall of Lil Jon...now that everyone is saying what ok and yeah that shit is really getting annoying. Now that mainstream media is letting Lil Jon into their daily lives it's only a matter of time before he gets phased out...cuz lets face it, it's hard getting girls to dance to Immortal Technique... The new M.O.P shit is fire, I really can't wait for that album...A dope album that heads can't sleep on is Littles "The American Dream." Lyrically, Littles is there, and you gotta cop that. Grafh's mixtape is sick too that's stayed in my system since I got it. Big shoutout goin out to DJ Classic with his "Streets Underground" mixtape, that shit is on point like a decimal. It's got the dopest unsigned cats on here, from Manifest Destiny and the Longshots to T.O.N.E, this mixtape is definteily one that you gotta have, plus Classic took the printing of it to another level, big shout out to him, check him out online at www.djclassic.com, dude is making a lot of big moves. One of the best mixtapes I've heard in a minute is DJ ELEV8 and DJ Lennnox's "Mixtape Phenoms" mixtape. They split up the mixtape, and they got some crazy blends on here that makes the tape worth copping. The dead prez and Jay-Z collab is on here, and the blend of "Encore" is crazy. This is a mixtape you can cop and keep in the system for more than a minute. Big things comin outta Miami! Holla at ELEV8 @ djelev8@aol.com. Miami's Pitbull is one of my picks for next to blow, I just copped his new mixtape, "Pitbull Unleashed Volume 3" and shit is hot. The tracks he's got with Trick Daddy and Lil Jon are dope, and there's mad freestyles on here, which really make this mixtape worth having. There's 44 tracks on here, and one thing about Pitbull is that he stays grinding. His TVT release "M.I.A.M.I" (Money Is A Major Issue) is gonna be crazy, check out www.pitbullmusic.com for more info. DJ Rob-N and Beatrendz dropped a mixtape "Rob-N Radio Volume 2 Hosted by Redd Eyezz." Rob-N is the same DJ that put together Pitbull's "Volume 3." This is a dope mixtape if your'e looking for a lot of the newer shit and that Miami flava. Pitbull is holdin it down for the 305 right now, and you gotta watch for Filthy Rich, Tzarizm, and Dirtbag. Definitely check these cats out at www.305hiphop.com. DJ Aspekt got his new mixtape poppin, "Neva Trust a Skinny DJ" hosted by Stat Quo. This has the new Pitbull single "Culo" and some Cuban Link, Joe Budden, Mobb Deep, and Nas. It's a dope mixtape and the artwork on the CD is crazy. Aspekt is another Miami cat makin moves. Get at Aspekt at djaspekt@my2way.com. Motz just dropped a dope mixtape called "My Hood, My Block." There's a lot of dope freestyles on here from the Oakand MC. Go to www.streetrunnaz.com for more info and holla at motz@tmail.com. DJ's, get at this cat for drops and freestyles! DJ Scream's got 2 mixtapes circulating right now, "Only the Crunk Survive Part 5" and "Only the Crunk Survive: Classic Edition." The classic edition is crazy because it's got some of the classic anthems like C-Murder's "Down 4" and the Geto Boys "Minds Playin Tricks On Me." Plus Scream does his own remixes of some tracks which are dope. His Part 5 mixtape has newer tracks on it, and a lot of underground artists. The freestyles are dope, but my favorite track on that is the "Neva Eva Remix" featuring Twista. If you're a DJ and you wanna end a party, that's the track that'll be shuttin the club down...Holla at Scream at djscream@myairmail.com.
