Needless to say, I was among the surprised to hear that Loon was
charged with attempted murder. I don't think his quotes in XXL are gonna help
him either, how he was talkin about how he could beat cats up an shit...plus
he never could kill a track...
And how bout Kanye saying "Anybody who gives my album
less than a perfect score is lowering the integrity of their own magazine."
Uh oh...here goes the integrity of HipHopGame.com right now...Kanye's album
isn't even perfect. In fact, it's not even Kanye...I've seen the proof that
Kanye doesn't even write his own rhymes! He's exposed! Wait til the Fuck Da
Industry Vol. 2 comes out...Integrity...HA! To me, he is not a good MC, he says
corny punchlines and his beats are gonna sound real played out in another year.
Call me crazy now, but just wait...
Out of all the independant cats out there, no one is movin units like Immortal
Technique, who's moved over 15,000 of his "Revolutionaty Volume
2." Just goes to show that you can make it independently.. Jean Grae's about to drop a very dope mixtape, "The Grae
Album," I've heard it and you defintiely don't wanna sleep on that. Jin got XXL's "Step Ya Rap Game Up." That's a long
time coming. He's been wack for a minute, I'm just surprised he got a deal.
First he went from not bein a "Gimmick" to being "A Chinaman."
If he's tryin to get us to "Learn Chinese," let's make him learn how
to rhyme.
Speakin of the double-R, I was disappointed with Drag-On's
album, but it's still got some cuts on there that are decent, but the Bronx
MC just didn't put it down like he could have.
One album I really can't wait for is Grafh's. From what I've
heard, he's on some next level shit, and if you don't believe me go check the
audio section.
Oh yeah ya boy got the radio show jumpin, big shout out to Michael Strahan
for comin through for the first show, that was huge. Shout out to the Street
Invasion Fam!
Also gotta send a shout out to Meddafore and Forever
Fam, they're about to be doing some real big things, don't forget about
them, check out meddafore.com
too to cop his latest mixes. Mick Boogie's another DJ doin some big things, congrats on
makin XXL! his new Kanye tape is out now too, but you know
how I feel about Kanye... Wordsworth's label Halftooth Records just put out their mixtape
"You Don't Know the Half" which came out pretty dope. It features
Kenn Starr, J-Live, Asheru, Kweli, and of course Wordsworth. The J-Live track
is sick "Who Do You Call." Words' "Here We Go Again" is
dope too. This is a dope mixtape that Halftooth put out, you can check out halftooth.com
for more info.
Gotta send a shout out to the Demolition Men team of DJ
Impereal and Devro. They got their "Takeover
Crunk City" mixtape hosted by David Banner which came out tight. The Raekwon
freestyle is real dope. Flashy Freddy is on here with a couple tracks. His tracks
are ok, nothing that really has me wanting to hear more. David Banner does a
great job with his hosting duties. Holla at these guys and don't sleep on this...thedemolitionmen@aol.com. DJ K-Swiv recently dropped "Mo Betta Blues" which
is an R and B mixtape. It's got enough tracks on here to please all the heads
lookin for some laid back shit. I'm not feelin this mixtape because a lot of
the new R and B tracks I just can't get with. But it's got all the new hits
on here, holla at K-Swiv @ madones@triplefunlimited.com. DJ Scream and the Black Bill Gates just dropped
a dope Dirty South mixtape "Sick Wit It Volumne 3." My favorite track
is Scream's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" blend. This mixtape has eveyone
who is anyone in the Southern Hip Hop scene, from Bonecrusher to the 3-6 Mafia
to the Youngbloodz. The new J-Kwon single "Tipsy" is gettin a lot
of love but I don't see what all the hype is about that track. This'll definitely
keep the ladies on the dance floor tho. Holla at Scream at 678.910.2003.
