Bitch listen, this isn't, no damn game in here, cuz 730’s here, YEAH YEAH
YEAH YEAH! J-Live just launched his new website, www.j-livemusic.com.
I just did a very dope interview with J-Live, so be on the lookout for that
very soon. And check out his new album “Always Will Be” while you’re
at it.
Another dope MC who just had his site launch is Mecca, who’s
a part of the QN5 Fam. Hit up www.mrmecca.com
to check him out, you can download his tracks from the site as well.
Did anyone see the G-Unit’s appearance on 106 and Park.
If that doesn’t go down as one of the worst-conducted interviews, I don’t
know what does. Slum Village has a new single out called “This Or That”
featuring Phat Kat. This has a lot more energy than the song that most people
are gonna remember them for, “Tainted.”
Brooklyn’s DJ Rondevu just dropped a crazy mixtape, “Knights
of the Roundtable.” Rondevu’s shit is straight up crazy. His mixtapes
stay in rotation. Rondevu’s blends are great, and the transitions from
track to track are seamless. On this mixtape, he remixes a lot of dope songs,
both current hits and classics. From Kool G Rap to Big Pun to 50 Cent, Rondevu
covers the bases of the hottest out. You know I don’t say this about a
lot of mixtapes, but this is a must have. Hit up www.djrondevu.com
for this mixtape.
Shout out to HipHopGame’s first artist of the month, Stimuli.
DO NOT sleep on his tracks, hit up the audio section to check his tracks, Stimuli’s
the truth.
If you’re looking to keep the party goin, check out DJ Smallz
“Southern Smoke Part 3.” This’ll keep the ladies out on the
floor all night, as he’s got the party all-star lineup with Lil’
Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Baby, Nappy Roots…How about Slimm Calhoun
coming back with Big Boi? I thought he disappeared. A few years ago Cutta Calhoun
had some dope shit, and then he went away for a minute. David Banner teams up
with Snoop for “This is the Way We Pimp.” Check out DJ Smallz at
www.djsmallz.com.
VA’s DJ A-Beats and Double J recently dropped a mixtape
together called “From One Generation to the Next.” A-Beats succeeded
Double J as Urban Programming Director at James Madison University’s WGMU.
Now DJ Lynch is holding that spot down. A-Beats gets the mixtape
started, as he’s got freestyles from Doujah Raze, who rips Akro and Lif’s
“Show Starters” beat, Sketch, Spectac, Nailz, and C.A.L.I.B.E.R.
A-Beats also blends the instrumental to “Through the Wire” to Mos
Def’s “2 Words.” Double J starts off his side with the new
Doujah Raze single “The Dedication,” which is crazy. It’s
also got O.C. and Born Unique on here. Another banger on this side is the Crisis
Center’s new single “Beautiful Music.” The more I hear this
cut the more I like it. Undefined kills this shit. Holla at A-Beats about the
mixtape at djabeats@yahoo.com.
Don't sleep on Pure Productions. Wood laced Computa with a dope beat
for "Blood Sweat and Tears," available for listen right here. Holla
at 'em at purepros1@aol.com.
Definitely be on the lookout for Alvare. The single “Let
Me Rap to You” is blazing. You’ll definitely be hearing some dope
material soon, hit up www.alvare.biz for more info.
Don’t sleep on the Great Mindz. The duo, made up of Black
Bart and Phryme da Rhino, dropped a dope 12-track freestyle CD along with the
rest of the Mindfield Entertainment team, which includes Killete, Logik, and
Judah as well. Hands down, my favorite track on the album is “G to the
M” by the Great Mindz, these guys kill this beat, which is even better
live. The Great Mindz were on the Vans Warped Tour last summer, along with Manifest
Destiny, Dynamix, Arcane, K Banger, Side Effect, Ritual, and the Sub Hoodz.
There’s also some dope freestyle tracks on this mixtape. Hit up www.mindfieldentertainment.com
for more info on this.
Shout out to Banned For Life, putting it down in Penn State.
These guys put together a nice demo, which isn’t studio-quality, but it’s
the sound quality is decent. Holla at these Happy Valley cats at jmg419@psu.edu.

The new Procussions album is pretty dope. Check out the Colorado
group at www.theprocussions.com.
That’s all I got for now…Peace
