If you’re sleepin, wake up it’s 730! What’s good? Dee Jekyll
got the forum back an poppin. Nothins fuckin with HipHopGame??? T.O.N.E just dropped “The Streets Need This Volume 2.”
The Bronx Bomber can be reached at izzytone07@netzero.net. Don’t miss
this shit. DJ RonDeVu is still doing it. I just got the “The
Homicide Files: The Best of Mobb Deep.” It’s got all their
classics on here. Now they got a deep catalog of music, so it’s hard to
get everything on here, but RonDeVu did a good job on this mixtape, barely missing
the 80 minute mark. This is definitely one that stays in rotation. Holla at
RonDeVu at djrondevu@djrondevu.com. DJ Solid is dropping some more fire. His new one, “Coming
for the Crown Part 2,” is hosted by Young Buck. He opens it up with a
dope freestyle over the same sample that Da Beatminaz used on Doujah Raze’s
“Spinmata.” I think it’s a Sly sample, but I’m not positive.
The Jay-Z and Freeway track “Higher” is real dope.
The beat’s banging and Jay goin through his old verses is pretty dope.
Where’s the Black Album? Da Hyttaz also blaze this mixtape, watch for
them. Joe Budden comes through on “It’s All a Rap.” I’m
a huge fan of Joe. No one else that’s getting play is reppin Jersey like
him. He kills this song. Obie Trice has a song with Busta Rhymes (who doesn’t
at this point?) which is decent. It sounds like an Eminem beat, and I am not
a fan of Em’s beats, but I think his shit can get crazy being that he’s
working with Dre. Ludacris “Hip Hop Quotables” is a crazy track,
his flow is ridiculous. Overall Solid’s got a lot of joints on here, holla
at him at djsolid88@hotmail.com.
“Only Neo is me, no Cleo can see my future, if she did I'd shoot her.” DJ E Dubble’s got his shit goin too. “Fully Focused
Part 2” is a dope mixtape. I got this one a little late so I had heard
a lot of the tracks already, but his dope blends make up for it. Like Outkast’s
classic “Elevators.” He blends the Youngbloodz “Damn”
as well. He uses three beats for this, but they sound the best with Dip Set’s
“Gangsta Music.” It’s funny how I listened to the lyrics a
lot more over these beats than with the original… His blends are real
hot. That’s definitely the strong point here, and his artwork looks real
dope here as well (cypha@cypha.com). Get at DJ E Dubble at djedubble@hotmail.com. Syc Omega is doing his thing. Don’t sleep on him. He
just put out a dope mixtape full of new material. He’s reppin GA. DJ’s,
ya better get at him for your mixtapes (frontline_ent@msn.com). He’s got
a lot of tight shit on this mixtape, he rips a lot of dope beats. Remember the
name, Syc Omega.
Shout out to Perk One of the Shapeshifter crew, check the new “Ex Vandalz”
release, if you’re into graf you’ll love this album. Kid Koala just dropped an album, “Some of My Friends
are DJ’s.” Dude does comics too, so it comes with a comic too. Hit
up ninjatune.net for more on this, but don’t sleep on Kid Koala. Besides,
the album also comes with a travel size chess board. Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah!
That new Last Emperor album “Music Magic Myth”
is absolutely crazy. I am really feeling that album. Kwote Scriptures is going for the ignorant crown with his new
mixtape that’s about to drop called “Solidified Ignorance.”
Check www.thelostlink.com
for some more info on this.
Shout Outs to Cee Hu$$ler and the DurDee South Dance
Music. Check out their latest “Hood Assault Volume 2.”
Holla at deadcee.com for more info on this mixtape, which has the hot T.O.N.E.
freestyle. Feenom Circle is still grinding. The West Coast group who’s
got a real dope sound has some new music “The Pawn Shop EP.” These
guys are definitely making some quality, laid back Hip Hop.
