1) What's up A-Trak? congratulations on your 2000 title at the ITF World champs. How was the standard of competition compared to last year?
It was a lot higher. Plus One was really good, and sowere Pump from Canada and Excess.

2) What's your schedule as far as championships in 2001?.
Probably none! I'm taking a break from battling.

3) Can you tell us a  bit about the "All-Star Beatdown", the newly formed Allies battle, and what's different from competitions like ITF or DMC?.
It's gonna be an invitational battle judged by some of the best DJs in the world: the former ISP, X-ecutioners, Scratch Perverts and some of the Beat Junkies. The format is head-to-head. We just want it to be the realest battle out there...

4) What scratch/combo or special technique are you working on right now and could you describe it shortly?.
I've been working on a couple of combos but I don't think I can really describe them.

5) Which mixer(s) do use to practice on and have you tried the "focus fader"?.
I use the Vestax 07. Yeah I've tried that fader on Stanton mixers.

6) Can you tell us about your group, Obscure Disorder, I know that your brother Dave 1 produces for them, are you still working with them and can we expect anything soon?.
Of course I'm still working with OD. We're working on new tracks right now and they're nuts! Expect a solo 12" by Troy Dunnit in about a month, then a new OD 12", and a full album within a year from now. Check out www.audioresearch.net for more details.

7) Besides the-allies.com , what are the websites you check first when you surf the net?
None... I don't really have time to surf the net.

8)  Have you seen "Scratch the Film" and "Wavetwisters"? can you tell us a bit about it?.
I haven't seen "Scratch" but "Wavetwisters" is an animated version of Q's album basically. It's pretty crazy.

9) What are your top 3 tracks at the moment?
Royce the 5'9", "Let's Grow"
Nas' new joint (I don't know the name)
OutKast, "Gangsta Shit"
