i think i would be easier if the original thread starter had some sort of admin rights ( deleting posts etc. ) for his thread alone ( not for the whole page necessarily ) and by this be able to keep it clean. by this u could make sure that no mod or admin overlooks certain threads , which is pretty likely to happen considering the number of threads on this board.....

A lot of people would get emotional over other peoples responses and they would delete anyones post who didnt agree....threads would be filled with a bunch of yes men and there would be no great hip hop debates....shit would be a friendly "i love you you love me" barney type of place...thats not the hhg i would like....
which is why we need active people to moderate

i understand ur point..but i was thinkin more of the possibility to delete spam in ur own thread so u dont have to call mods or wait till one sees it but i guess it could come to emotional post erasing as well, ur prolly right...
the problem is that there are not many really active mods on HHG atm so giving more power to threadstarters could help transitionally untill there are new mods or the ones that were passive so far become active again
