***HHG's Official NBA Fantasy League Draft***

Sup Ladies....

I've gone ahead and set up a private league on NBA.com for our annual NBA fantasy league. The League is set up as a rotisserie (mmm....chicken), and will have teams gain points in the following catergories.

• Points
• Rebounds
• Assists
• Steals
• Blocks
• Field Goal Percentage
• Free Throw Percentage
• 3 Pointers Made

You will be able to draft 15 players with a maximum of up to 10 players playing each night...games will be monitored by position so keep tabs on how many games have been played at each position (there will be a maximum of 82 games each allocated)

The League is currently set-up under the name:

• Hip Hop Game

and the Pass is:

• hhg

I have a date of Tuesday September 25th @ 8:30pm ET set-up for the live draft and there can be as many as 30 teams (although i'm sure we won't get nearly that many).

I wasn't in the Yahoo League last year but I like the NBA.com format better. I was gonna re-introduce this thread at the beginning of October to see how many people would be interested in playing.

Is there a consensus here to play on Yahoo? If so then somebody else set it up and i'll join. If not i'll set it up on NBA.com and have the draft set for mid-October.

I've never done NBA.com before and I like Yahoo, I'm used to it, and I think a lot of other people are as well. Either way though, I'm definitely down to join a league, no matter if it's NBA.com or Yahoo.

I'm down to set up the NBA league on Yahoo.... I use it cause it's easy, and I can get to all my teams from all the different sports on 1 main page....

I'll set it up sometime this week if yall want me to, we'll draft mid-October like Kawz already said

Also, i've never done a head to head format before...can somebody give me a breakdown of how it works.

Basically... You're stats are week to week

You're matchup up head to head against another team from the league (yahoo makes a schedule once people are all signed up)... and you play your stats against theirs, and you get a Win, Loss, or Tie for each catagory... so the best you could do on any given week is 8-0-0 (W-L-Tie)

But even tho you're playin against somebody each week, it doesn't mean you have to beat them in the majority of the catagories to get a win for that week.... Your rank in the league is based off your overall record, not wether or not you beat that guy in more catagories that week. So you could go 8-0-0, and then go 3-5-0... Instead of having a 1-1 record, you're 11-5-0 overall

That might have made it more confusing than it is, I don't know... but you probably get the point
