Ok, football season is close enough and I am getting excited now that preseason has already started so here are my picks...

AFC East
New England - Add Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and Adalius Thomas to a team that was already a Super Bowl contender, and you have one of the best in the league.
Miami - I was on them last year but I was just a year early. Joey Porter and Trent Green are two very nice veteran additions that should mix well with their young talent and I think they are on the way up.
Buffalo - I like the Marshawn Lynch/Anthony Thomas combination in the backfield, and Lee Evans and J.P. Losman seem to be developing a nice chemistry. Losing London Fletcher will hurt, but I think Posluszny can be a nice replacement.
New York - Mangini is not that great, their defense is overrated, and their schedule is murderous. I know I sound like a hateful Giants fan, but the Jets are not that good.

AFC North
Baltimore - McGahee is better than Jamal Lewis, and that defense is still VERY good. Look out for Haloti Ngata this year, I think he will make the Pro Bowl.
Cincinnati - We all know they can score and their defense seems like it is starting to catch up. Adding Leon Hall and Ed Hartwell will make them tougher and I think they should be in contention for a wild card spot.
Pittsburgh - I don't think they are as bad as they were last year. As long as Roethlisberger can manage their offense they should be at least 9-7. I do however have some concerns about the back seven of their defense aside from Polamalu.
Cleveland - Any other division and I would have them higher. Everyone knows they had a great draft, I think Quinn will end up being better than Russell. They are one of the most improved teams in the league and in 2008 they could be a problem for the rest of the AFC North.

AFC South
Indianapolis - They lost a LOT on defense. With that offense they can still win this division but they will not win another Super Bowl unless they show me that they are truly committed to defense.
Jacksonville - I like Byron Leftwich, but I just don't think a team with him as their starting quarterback will ever really be that good. It seems like it will be the same as usual with this team. They will be around 8-8 or 9-7, maybe make the playoffs, but exit early.
Tennessee - I like the changes that they made on defense but they still need to get Vince a little more help on the other side of the ball. Pair that with a very tough schedule and I think Titans fans will need to wait at least one more year, although this team is getting better.
Houston - I do not like the way they put all their eggs in the basket of Matt Schaub. I think they vastly overpaid for a QB that has hardly any pro experience. They have a pretty good defense on paper, but Matt Schaub, Ahman Green, and Ron Dayne do not scare me.

AFC West
San Diego - Tomlinson + Gates + Merriman + No Schottenheimer = Super Bowl. And learn this name now...Vincent Jackson.
Denver - Travis Henry gives them a good #1 back which they didn't have last year. Champ Bailey and Dre Bly are I think the best cornerback tandem in the NFL, and Cutler is going to be a good QB for a while. Any other division and I would probably have them in first place, but this team will make the playoffs.
Kansas City - I don't really see too much improvement here, and I would not be confident with Brodie Croyle or Damon Huard as my starting quarterback. Until they can resolve that situation I see them pretty much treading water and finishing somewhere around 7-9.
Oakland - Slowly improving. The defense should be solid again, and I like the addition of Dominic Rhodes. A good season would be 6-10 and a third place finish, and the future should be brighter.
