Looked at as one of, if not the best player in Europe right now. Has lead his team to multiple championships in the Spanish league and won the MVP in 2005 and 2007. Also won the Gold medal playing for Argentina in the 2004 Olympics. Great low post scorer, wether back to the basket or facing up. Great hands, good athlete, can run the floor extremly well for somebody his size, strong bruiser type.... downfall is his height.... listed at 6'9, he's probably not even that tall.

Here's the one thing that's bad about Scola...... He's so good over there, that they're about to offer him a 5 year contract extention worth as much and maybe more than he would make playing for an NBA team under the MLE.... and he's a star there.... so he may never end up in an NBA uniform if he signs that deal

Yea.... but..... he's not gonna walk in and get an MLE from anybody. That would be the absolute best he could hope for, and it's not happenin... My bad, I said that other without thinking about what I typed.... I hope he does come over tho man, Spurs uni or not, I'd like to see how his game translates to the NBA after all these years of speculation. He has said he likes playing in Spain tho, and he wins, and is a star like I said... so if the offers are similar, which they probably will be, I wouldn't be suprised to see him stay over there

Derek Fisher leaves Jazz.... says he needs to take care of his daughter. No buyout or anything, he's just walking away from the $21mil he's got left on his contract. The Clippers hope to sign Francis, 30, for a portion of the mid-level exception(It sad that a player who was considered one of the top guards in the league not too long ago cant even get the full MLE anymore, shit even mark blount is being considered for the full MLE), reuniting him with his longtime friend, guard Cuttino Mobley.

lol...... good thing about that is it would re-unite him and Mobley. Those 2 are so close that people were callin 'em gay.... Franchise was never the same once they split 'em up, maybe it'll get him going again. That's all they could hope for. It actually won't be too bad tho, with Cassell getting old, and Livingston probably never gonna be the same again....

If I was the Clips, I'd be saving my money to try and re-sign EB next year tho, but they'll still probably be fine. I don't know their situation, but I can't imagine they have too many huge contracts on the books, at least not ones that have alot of years left on 'em.

Damn I wish the Spurs could get Darko, he'd be a beast here... I don't think it's got a chance of happening tho. His agent is lookin for $10mil per, that's not happening either... but he's gonna get more than we'll offer... and a Nocioni type is more of a priority.... although I'm almost sold on the idea of not signing anybody else this year and waiting til next year.... because if we do that, we'll be able to offer a max contract to a guy like Brand (omg)
