UFC president Dana White confirmed to Yahoo Sports that Brock Lesnar has been diagnosed with mononucleosis. Lesnar will be unable to begin training until sometime in December.
White also noted that he is unsure whether Lesnar's scheduled opponent Shane Carwin will in the meantime. "We're still trying to figure it out and I'm really not sure where any of it stands right now," White said.Brock Lesnar will not be able to fight Shane Carwin in January due to his ongoing illness. The fight was originally scheduled to take place later this month, but was pushed back to January because Lesnar was too sick to train. Numerous MMA sites are reporting that he is still sick and unable to train.
Fucking sucks. Seems all of his fights end up getting pushed back for one reason or another.

Just watched UFC 1. Those are some angry motherfuckers. Most of them wanted to keep fighting even after the fight was over. Tapping was ridiculous cause the ref fucking sucked. Ken Shamrock lost on the honor system cause the ref didn't see him tap 5 fucking times. Royce Gracie had to yell at the ref in his face that Shamrock tapped and even broke the hold. Shamrock had to tell the ref that yes, he tapped. It was insane.
