Fuck it I'll shell out the 40 bucks tonight to see Cro Cop kick dudes face in HD.
Yeah barely then New Years Eve Rodrigo Nogueira out classed him. If you watch the improvements Nogueira is making with his stand up game, I truly believe he has a chance of defeating Fedor finally.Originally Posted by Kim Yiu

First of all the HD broadcast wasn't working so I had to watch it in regular broadcast. Which might of been for the best because nothing spectacular happened to warrant the extra $10 for HD.
Rampage vs Eastman- Rampage said he was nervous at first so there was a slow start. Into the second round he began to look like his old self and knocked Eastman out with a few right uppercuts.
Cro Cop vs Sanchez- Complete bullshit fight. Sanchez kept running away like a bitch. Cro Cop kept stalking him around the ring and punishing him with the left kick to the body and head or right kick to the leg. Finally Cro Cop sends him stumbling to the ground with a punch then mounts him and plays target practice with Eddie's nose. Ref feels sorry for him and stops the fight.
Silva vs Lutter- For one, how the fuck does a pro fighter not make weight? I wrestled in high school so I know what is takes to make fucking weight so there is no excuse. Straight up disrespect and dishonor from Lutter. Lutter came in this fight with the game plan to punish silva on the ground with his BJJ skills. Lutter avoid the striking ability of Silva and took him down multiple times but was unable to work any significant hits or submissions. At one point the so called BJJ master had a full mount on Silva and still let him escape. In the second round he took Silva down only to have Silva rock him with an upkick to the face then triangle choked him.

UFC 69- The Shootout
Georges St. Pierre vs. Matt Serra
Diego Sanchez vs. Josh Koscheck
Mike Swick vs. Yushin Okami
Thales Leites vs. Pete Sell
Luke Cummo vs. Josh Haynes
Heath Herring is also being considered for the PPV, but the UFC was dissapointed in his first outting with Jake O'Brien so they haven't made a firm decision as of yet. I think they'll give it to him because it's in his home state of Texas.
I am personally amped to see the Sanchez-Koscheck fight. I've been waiting for this one since the fall of 06.

Damn, UFC 67 wasn't satisfying at all. Sanchez was basically runnin his ass off, going in circles with Mirko stalkin him.
Also, damn...Silva had some controversial elbows there. I though he was droppin them downwards, but I guess it was sideways

^LOL, yeah, guess so.
The fight with Frank Edgars was pretty good though. I still don't know how he survived the kneebar for that long
UFC is boring compared to pride fc. pride fights are so exciting.
When Pride came to the USA every match was a good one, the crowd was on there feet all night.

Nick Diaz Says Gomi Will Be "Getting An Ass Beating"
Diaz on Gomi
We spoke to Nick Diaz on his upcoming encounter with current lightweight Pride Champion, Takanori Gomi. The 23 year old did not refrain from expressing his thoughts.
"I don't think he has anything to offer that I haven't seen before. I think I've fought tougher guys than him. The guys I've fought hit harder, were better wrestlers and better grapplers. What does he think he'll be able to do to me? I'm not intimidated at all and if he thinks he can knock me out that's fine. I think he'll be the one getting an ass beating so I hope he's ready." - Diaz
