Wow. you two came pretty nice in this battle. I must admit, this HAS to be the best verse I've ever seen from Vick. Octanes verse was nice too.



Vicks verse:


Wow, vick had some played shit in his verse, as usual. But I must admit, the way he worded and flipped the shit this time made his verse seem fresher than it normally sounds. He played on the Octane name, which is to be expected. Vick came out really hard in the beginning with the

Vick started to lose a little toward the end as his verse starting looking a lot more like filler material. The class line was boring, as was the puncline. The illustrate line was pretty uninspired, but he did come with some authority, which should be noted.

No hate, I've never been a huge fan of SickVick's drops. I personally always found them pretty stale, leaning too much on punchline and having played shit. but this verse was a step up for vick, I enjoyed this read a lot.



Octanes verse:


Hmm, I've read Octane before. His flow has definitely took a step back. Seems like he decided to give his verse a lot more substance in terms of lyrical content, and he cut out all of the multis. Personally I like lyrical substance, even if you had to simplify your flow just a little. We can see that Octane put a lot into his verse. Obviously the quotes inspired him to do a little more, and give him some leverage. I personally don't know if that quote from Vick was embellished but it was entertaining.


but overall, nothing in Octanes verse stood out. The Vegas line was okay, the big dog line was good too (even if it didn't really rhyme). I must admit that Oct concept and angle were all pretty good. That is a good way to attack a dude. But overall, I think you didn't capitalize on it like you should have. Your verse could have been much more killer.

for one, Sickvick had some really killer lines in his verse, while Octane didn't have many at all. While Octane verse was solid and passable, Vick took the personal and punches category by far. Octanes verse had the potential to be a little more personal, but for some reason, it didn't come off as ruthless as Sickvicks.
