Haha me and blaze were kinda clueless as to what we should do and then we came up with a somewhat clever topic if I do say so myself.

Turning on my shoulder, I, focus in the light
yawn from lack of sleep of the previous night
A butter brown beauty lies asleep beside me

Sittin upright on the mattress I survey the scene

A royal oak closet's draped with business attire...

It was a bit too much to watch from the 3rd person

Well...

Both writers had a decent approach at the topic in hand, I liked both verses, they both spoke pretty well for themselves, flow, topic, vocab, was pretty even. But the imagination of Weeded was superior to that of Joey's and for that I'm gonna have to go with Weeded, his imagination bought the topic to life a little more than what Joey was spitting.

both writers did their thing, but like i've previously stated, i enjoyed the complexity of Weeded's....to me, in a finals match, i want something more then just a straight forward verse, i'm looking for something not everyone can do, and Weeded did that....both went two different directions, but i thought the concept of weededs, the execution and wordplay was just on a higher level

A:Well for this tourny we will be giving participants topics at random and they will show their skills at writing a verse on that topic. Their are 5 judges that were pre-selected that will be voting. 3 out of 5 votes is a win.
