    In this week's Hip-Hop Charts, Ludacris launches his "money maker," Janet Jackson settles for second best, and Chingy keeps his spot in the top three.

    Debuting on the Hip-Hop Charts this week at No. 1 is Ludacris. The ATL rapper has brought some life back into the charts this week, as "Money Maker" continues to bring in the dollars for Release Therapy. This week, Luda has banged it out with a very successful 309,800 copies sold.

    Debuting on the charts this week is Janet Jackson, coming in for second best at No. 2. The Nelly-featured "Call on Me" had the summer on fire, and has given the veteran a big boost for her first week. 20 Y.O has pulled in 296,900 copies for week one.

    Slipping fifteen seats to No. 23 this week is Chingy. After debuting on the charts at No. 8 last week, the sales for the St. Louis rep has downgraded from 70,600 last week to a sullen 34,700 this week. After 2 weeks, Hoodstar has moved 112,300 discs.

    Taking a nosedive this week is Lupe Fiasco, breaking the fall at No. 32. It was reported that the RIAA had some issues last week, contributing to the incorrect reports of Lupe's debuting at 58,000. Food and Liquor's last week's numbers actually topped off at 80,665, which made him the top selling rap artist for that week, bringing the total for the 1st and 15th recording artist to 112,200 units thus far.

    Holding it down this week at No. 34 is Rick Ross. The M.I.A hustler has been holding it down for Port of Miami, with the total for the Def Jam debut sitting tight at 496,500 after 8 weeks. This week, Ross has made off with 28,300 copies.

    Coming in at No. 41 this week is Gnarls Barkley. The total for the duo reads off at 965,700, with 21,400 representing the week-in total.

    Falling ten slots on the charts this week is Young Dro. "Shoulder Lean" has Best Thang Smokin' leaning mean on the charts, with a simmering 18,400 units sold this week. After 5 weeks, Dro has totaled his debut to 219,000 discs.

    Next up is Yung Joc, taking a seat at No. 54 this week. "I Know You See It" is still trying its hand for radio and video spins, as the total for the Bad Boy rep sits at 747,600. The 7-day cycle for Joc has finished off at 17,200.

    Taking the No. 83 position on the charts this week is MethodMan. The Staten Island legend is still hanging in there, with a slow 11,300 copies sold this week for 4:21 The Day After. To date, the LP's numbers read off at 138,900 in total.

    Taking a horrific fifty-four foot drop on the charts this week is Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, landing hard at No. 85 this week. After debuting at No. 31 last week, the Midwest rappers have collected 11,100 units for Thug Stories this week, bringing their total to 41,700.

    Taking a look at the R&B rhythms, Justin Timberlake holds it down, Fergie bridges the gap, Beyonce is still on fire, and Danity Kane keep it moving. Justin Timberlake is still preserving his sexy this week, holding it down at No. 5. After 3 weeks, Justin has surpassed official platinum stat, with his numbers reading off at 1,061,100. This week, Futuresex/Lovesounds has finished off at a strong 146,900. Taking the No. 9 seat this week is Fergie, with 73,800 units sold. The Black Eyed Peas singer has finished off at 232,000. Ringing the alarm at No. 11 is Beyonce. The Houston singer is still on her grind, nearing official platinum stat with 863,800 copies sold in total. This week, the chick simply known as "B" has banged it out with 65,800. Taking the No. 21 spot this week is Danity Kane. This week, the five-woman group has sold 38,500 CDs, bringing the total for their Bad Boy debut to 583,200.

    Next week look for Sleepy Brown, Robin Thicke, J Dilla and Unk to all make appearances on the HIP-Hop Charts.

    chingy sells more than lupe and luda does double the number as them thats wild
