QB – Art Schlichter 1978-81 7,547 yards, backup is Rex Kern…3 straight big 10 titles, beat OJ’s USC team for the nat’l championship….nuff said...Troy Smith will be on this after he wins the Heisman
RB – Archie Griffin (Only 2 Time Heisman Winner)
RB - Eddie George (Heisman, had 24 tds and almost 2,000 yards in one season, ran for 314 yards in a game....)
WR – David Boston (owns jus about every WR record at OSU...and think of all the WR's that have been there not mentioned, like Terry Glenn, Joey Galloway, Santonio Holmes, Michael Jenkins, etc.)
WR – Cris Carter (As a freshman had 172 yards in the rose bowl, all american, all everything, best hands ever...EVER)
TE – Ricky Dudley (#7 overall pick, was the highest a TE got drafted in loooong time)
OT – Orlando Pace (OT became big 10’s MVP on offense…who does that as an OT? Back to back Lombardi award winner also)
OT – John Hicks (Finished 2nd in Heisman voting…as an OT!!!)
OG – Jim Parker – Selected by SI as a starter on all time college team (as was Pace…so this easily the best OL, HOF’er in everything
C – LeCharles Bentley ‘Nuff Said
OG – Gomer Jones…College Fball HOF’er…2 time team MVP

DL – Jim Stallwagon … Outland/Lombardi winner…College HOF’er
DL – Mike Vrabel – 66 TFL, 36 Sacks…2 time all american
DL – Dan Wilkonson – Drafted First Overall…college god


LB – Chris Spielman…2 time all american, 2 time Lombardi winner, 29 tackles in one game against Michigan, legend status at OSU, leads OSU in tackles all time
LB – AJ Hawk…you already know
LB – Tom Cousineau – 2 time all American, owns 6 of OSU’s top 10 single game tackle totals, could have stopped God on a 4th and 1
LB – Andy Katzenmoyer – 4 year starter, Butkus Award Winner, was allowed to wear Archie’s #...that says enough..Consensus All American ever since his soph. year, etc.

DB – Vic Janowicz – think charles woodson…but much better. Heisman award winner, arguably OSU’s greatest all around player EVER
DB – Jack Tatum – on SI’s all century team for a reason, hardest hitting DB probably ever… 2 time all american
DB- Mike Doss – THREE TIME ALL AMERICAN, led team in tackles twice, huge big game player, dominated the college game
DB – Antoine Winfield – Team MVP, All American, Thorpe Award Winner, tough to pick him over Springs but had to, prob. Best cover corner ever in OSU history.

KR/PR – Ted Ginn Jr….Catch him if you can…and you can’t
K – Mike Nugent…God? Maybe.
P – Tom Skladany – 3 time all American, Had a single season average of almost 47 yards a punt…dam!

Coach – Woody Hayes….embodies OSU

I didn’t even put on Heisman winners and legends like Hopalong Cassady or Les Horvath, Keith Byars, Korey Stringer, etc. etc.
