HIP HOP IS NOT DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only people that truly live Hip Hop think that its dead, like me. But truly it is not dead. Example, turn on MTV2 or BET and what music do you always see being played, Rap, the problem is, its all WACK. This Lean wit it shit, the Shoulder Lean, the Laffy Taffy, Its Goin Down. This is the music that is gettin all the air time.

Hip Hop is just in a stage where people that arnt true fans dont really know what true Hip Hop is, they dont hear the music that actually means something like music from Nas or someone like that, and all they hear is this party music like Young Joc and they think its good so they go out and buy that instead.

Hip Hop is not Dead, its all the fans. The fans are what started the beef with Biggie and Pac by always sayin "East vrs. West" with them on magazine covers, trying to start beef so that the magazines would make money. The fans are the ones who go out and buy and listen to this fake shit that they play on MTV.

Only the people who live Hip Hop and understand it think that Hip Hop is dead, but truly its not, the wack hip hop is alive and movin well.

'Hip-hop' is dead..... Nas said so.... Most of this board is on his dick so whateva he says MUST be so...... These are the same ppl who think pac and big are overrated.... The same kids who think saigon (lol), papoose, big l, and joe buddens are some of the all time greats.... They think the detroit rapper is in the top 10..... They download their fav artists albums, then they complain when club rappers outsell them.... They base their opinions on who has the best punchlines.... They don't realize that the worst thing to happen to wutang was when ghostface took off the mask.... They still think wu tang is relevant.... They blame the south for everyone elses shitty records.... They buy smack dvds for the realness and call rappers stupid when they actually catch a real case.... They have mostly freestyles on their ipods/mp3s.... They aren't from nyc but they act like it... They think nas will bring hiphop back.... They think jayz should stop ruining def jam even tho most of the artists on there are already past their prime..... These are the ppl who killed hip hop..... They always contradict themselves, blame others, and stay lookin for excuses....

And people dont think Budden, Paps, etc. are some of the greatest ever, we feel that they are talented artists who still bring "real" hip hop unlike all this club music that sells and we hope they can bring realness back into hip hop.

1. Nas is being sarcastic when he titles his entire career defining album "Hip-Hop Is Dead". The album itself is going to be a "Hip-Hop" record so he couldn't really believe that shit. He's just trying to say "I'm bringing it back" like y'all used to feel it.
