This is another "competition" to help determine the best emcees on the site currently active. You must drop a full verse on a certain topic each week the winner will pick the new topic. For now I'll pick it.



Imma keep it pretty simple this week and keep it broad and easy to rhyme about

Topic - Religion

The horror of everyday lead early man's thoughts astray/
Hallucinating into believing heaven is but a death away/
And that a supreme ruler created us on the 5th day/

[Mixed-Race]

My vision of religion bein beneficial to society,
Now seems so superficial, my thoughts are all anxiety.
A holy war consuming, old words, new definitions,
Twisted and moulded, out of any recognition.
Old scriptures and phrases used for new propaganda,
It's gone back to black and white, like we looking at a panda.
The paint runs on past pictures painted,
New images, we have become aquainted, with.
Times have changed in the world we live in,
No longer our race but our God and religion.
God never wanted to be the reason for warfare,
People feel obligied to go and do more prayer.
With todays morals we feel more out of reach,
We'll die for our God so more morals we breach.
Everyone wants to get their paradise passes,
But is religion just opium for the masses.


K, thats my drop. Just talkin about how in todays society people feel they aren't in touch with God enough and are confused about what they should do. And also on the religious wars that are being fought all over the world as we type. I'm asking the question do we need religion but thats for you to do decide and no one else.

Contemplation was on another level when I struck on a chord,
Temptation to dance wit the devil or side with the Lord,
Now one path leads to Heaven wit Jesus calling me aboard,
But if the adversary is explored then there’s sin as reward,
Never felt the need to go ahead and lead a holy life,
Only goal in my life was to not have a soul filled wit strife,
My plight was I had the itch in me to not only fight
The light and what it represented and everything white,
But to revel in the darkness cause I had a feeling I might,
Belong outta sight of the bright and all that was right,
Now I love the darkness and all it represents,
Making my own path like the devil and all of his intents,
My family won’t hear out my views they just go to resent
All my values of doing what feels good and what God tries to prevent,
Yet I still cherish life’s miracles so it would seem that I’m spiritual,
Then a voice hit me writing this telling me, ‘Find the spirit, you’ll….’
But I stopped him there cause this choice has to be made at my own will,
Because even after all this thought I’m not closer to an answer, not even a lil….

If God loves us all then why do we all have to die

God gives us success and makes us taste it, then takes it back and throws you off to Satan
But I dont call it hatin, cause at the end of it he's there
Givin us good things out of thin air
It ain't black and white though, cause my beliefs can be gray
Askin how God can love me when he gives a rainy day
Disbelief aint my way, but sometimes i gotta say
Gotta question, throwin my fate to God aint the best suggestion
Smith and wesson, restin in a palm
Goth-ass kids aint recitin the psalm
They're excitin their mom, till she finds them swingin
Five days later, cryin choir singin
It's like my neck he's wringin, cause God's game must choke me
Take away the good life and find he ain't broke me
Like the stories of job, confessin to a dude in a robe
How can I accept that? Like acceptin guns for killin
I ain't sayin that you could call me a villan
But what God's done don't warm my heart
So my start has ended, and life's like it's disbelief befriended
And the gray's comin back so Lord don't be offended

Jus look at 9-11 the crusades or either of the 2 world wars
So as I sip on the Holy grail I exhale a sworm of deadly locust
Tryna remain focus as I spit Psalms that give hope 2 the hopeless
Was it all jus hocus pocus when Jesus turned water into wine
Inspirin people to achieve greatness is the miracle we portray in rhyme
Knowin eventually in time we all have to face the demons in our mind
As inner peace within our souls is the goal we all use religion to find
But behind every faith it seems darker more sinister motives are hidden
Each 1 designed to keep our minds trapped in a psychological prison
We still envision livin without bein manipulated by Judaism Islam or christianity
A world that needs only 1 belief and thats a simple faith within humanity

Through all of chaos, an unknown spirit of divinity
Who was the brain of the trinity/ took human kind from the monotony of infinity
And earth took form, it was closed out from space
And we got evolution, and manifested the human race
But human were curious, about reality’s vision
So throughout time, mankind came up with religion
The Sumerians had Annunaki, an angel of life
The Egyptians has polytheism, to reinforce their aristocracy and strife
Africans worshipped Gods of elements, and they dances through the night
And the Hebrews had Moses, who had the tree of knowledge, which culminated men’s observations and sights
But religion, people thought it was divine, and when boundaries were no longer restricted
Pain was inflicted, because world views were inflicted
Once people were praying about a savior because hope seemed to far away
But 1,000 years later in Europe they were burning enlighten thinkers, because they had more to say
We had crusades in Turkey, we saw the Moors leave Spain
Roman Catholicism engulfed the peninsula, but left Muslims in pain
But before that the Muslims were killing Christians, in a place called Granola
Then we had estrange lineages which now cause the war for Hezzabollah
What was once a source of peace, that gave children a gleam of light
Has rationalized all things foul, like racism, caste, and that seem to cause us blight
We all humans, and our creator has one job
So consolidate our worldviews, and show there is a path to one God.
