How many of you guys are boxing fans? Im not talking about casual fans who know only Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hota, and Muhammed Ali, Im talking about real fans who know the game. Can you name all the weight divisions, can you name at least one champ in every division? Fans like that. I know I am

Nah theres some good shit going on that unfortunately goes unnoticed, due to lack of TV exposure. Im looking forward to Floyd's next fight vs. Cory Spinks that should be a good fight.

I can name all the weight divisions. But I don't know the champ in all of them. I think boxing has gone downhill. It's time for a new generation of superstars to step up to the plate. All these "great" ones are retired or still fighting but shouldn't be.

The reason the greats were so well known back then is the national exposure they got. Back in Ali's day his fights were televised live, on NBC in prime time hours so the masses watched his fights and got to know him, but with the advent of PPV now people are forced to part with their hard earned dollars and most of us who would watch boxing cant really afford $50 a fight, sometimes 2 or 3 fights a month.
