Voting 101 - Read before voting

Since most people here dont seem to know how to vote they just put a name
or some bullshit 1 line reason this is how your suppossed to vote
People deserve to get feedback on there work and it is the only way the
quality of battles improves so either vote properly or not at all

And stop voting just for people you get along with this is the net No ones
gonna kick your ass for being honest and voicing your opinion when you vote

Primary Catagories

Personals:

These are very important you need to make it obvious that your verse is
aimed at who your facing in that battle and isnt just some random verse
you wrote a year ago and just revised

Examples of personals would be:

Something about their record
A previous post they have made
A verse they have put up in Emceeing
Something you've got from their profile
The area they come from

Anything that can be directly associated with you opponent
A powerfull personal can make a much stronger Punch which brings me to

Personals can make or break a battle punches give the ooh factor whilst
personals give you the direct attack on somebody combining the to results
in guaranteed higher quality battles


Punches

Who is hitting harder with what they are saying and being more original about
it by backing your punches up with good personals will result in them hitting harder

Examples

A good punch will feel natural and not forced
A good punch will be original and not bitten
A good punch will not come from feeding off your opponents verse
To strengthen up punches simply add a personal in there


Creativity

Something original that takes you by surprise not the regular could be
anything from a smilie a ne concept fo laying the battle or a punch
that took you by surprise


Wordplay

Things that have more than 1 meaning for example

a)The only Board you the Top Hat on say's Monopoly on the box

b)facin a pawn tryna be my mate but could never have this king checked


Multi's

Important to keep a readers interest in your verse

Multi-syllable rhyming - 1 line with multi syllable rhyming throughout

Flow

IMO more important than multi's when you can put a verse across that
executes smoothly and gets across all of your punches and personals you
are on your way

Muiltis - can help a lot with getting your flow on point

Right they are the Primary Catagorie to vote on when looking at these battles
they are also what you should be thinking about when writing your battle
verses

Secondary Catagories

These are less important than the primaries as they dont really decide
whether a person deserves to win a battle so beware when voting not to
just use these only use a secondary when you cant decide based on the
Primary ones in the outcome the primaries are tied move to these

Opener - Who came out with the better opening lines
Closer - Who hit harder on the finishing of the verse that final blow
Entertainment - Which verse did you find to be most entertaining
Structure - Which was easier to read and execute the flow based on how it was presented

Aggression - Who had the more aggressive verse


Now people have no excuse for not voting on the proper catagories in
battles if someone has explained their vote only using secondary cats
when there was more than 1 primary left feel free to ask for there vote
to be explained properly on the catagories that are here

Alternatively when you set your battle threads up and post rules
simple add whihc of these catagories they must vote on either

a) List the specific catagories
b) Just put vote on 3 primary 2 secondary fo example
