I think Senderos will play well this season....he had a good world cup for the games he played in. I think he'll come good. I think we need a new centre back though..... definitly need a new left back...

Appiah would be a heavy signing. I'm happy with our current squad.... Like I said though...we NEED another left back and centre back.... Clichy is injured... and I dont think a right footed player can sink as a left back permanently no matter how heavy a job he does....(Flamini) Clichy out injured... we need another option on the left. Get an experienced centre back. And maybe a hitman in the box......

Arsene will sign the right players. At the end of the day he doesn't NEED to sign anybody. We conceded no goals in 10 and a half Champions League games last season so I know our defense can cope. Henry is the best goal scorer in the game so I know we can score. Fabregas could easily be the most exciting young player in the world so I know we've got shit in the middle.

I could go on... You're making it an issue because you're scared. We're really not watching it.

Champs league doesnt really test a team either the real test is over 38 games sure arsenal can put some decent runs together but you always get complacent you definately need to make some signings before you can even be considered a threat that i should be worried about. I think Arsenal fans are optimistic because the domestic season really cant get as bad as it was last season can it, i mean you wouldnt put money on it

We're optimistic because we play the best football in the world. If that's not a reason to be optimistic I don't know what is. The fact that we have a coach who breeds the world's best players is also a reason to be optimisitic. Over the years at Arsenal we've always had a one player coming through the ranks who will eventually establish himself. But it's always taken time for them to find their feet. Arsene took a season to blood like 9 young players and make them click faster then Henry, Toure, Vieira, Ljungberg, Anelka or Cole ever did. Having a man who finds Henry, Toure, Vieira, Ljungberg, Anelka etc. and makes them the players they are today, choose 9 or so young players to represent Arsenal is a reason to be optimistic. Eboue, Flamini, Fabregas, Adebayor, Walcott, Senderos, Hoyte, van Persie (even though I don't like him), Diaby, Song, Djourou, Clichy, Aliadiere... Then the players who are out on loan getting their first team experience up; Gilbert, Larsson, Bendtnar, Lupoli, Muamba...
