nah not really but alot of my professors told me angels&demons by dan brown is good so i started to read its not bad (so far)
Just curious because it seems these days not alot of people read just to read. These Days its just them being forced to read classics (i.e. To Kill A Mocking Bird, The Color Purple, etc) which many people don't like in the first person. So I was just wondering if anyone else out there reads for leisure like me?
And in case anyone was wondering, the last book I read Gates of Fire. Good fucking book. Although I did just order 70 bucks worth of books to read, which include: A Confederacy of Dunces, Runnin With Scissors, Naked, V For Vendetta, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Spy who Came in From The Cold. Currently reading The Last Gangster by George Anastasia Albert Anastasia's Son) and The Good Guys by Bill Bonnano (former heard of the Bonnano Crime Family), Joe Pistone (Donnie Brasco) and David Fisher (yes I read at times up to three books at a time.)
I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! Thats what I want!

Is The Great Gatsby any good? Everytime I checked it out in Middle school i never got past the first couple of pages. Then again that was more than a decade ago so my taste for literature has changed since then...

Angels and Demons
Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is shocked to find proof that the legendary secret society, the Illuminati--dedicated since the time of Galileo to promoting the interests of science and condemning the blind faith of Catholicism--is alive, well, and murderously active. Brilliant physicist Leonardo Vetra has been murdered, his eyes plucked out, and the society's ancient symbol branded upon his chest. His final discovery, antimatter, the most powerful and dangerous energy source known to man, has disappeared--only to be hidden somewhere beneath Vatican City on the eve of the election of a new pope. Langdon and Vittoria, Vetra's daughter and colleague, embark on a frantic hunt through the streets, churches, and catacombs of Rome, following a 400-year-old trail to the lair of the Illuminati, to prevent the incineration of civilization.
Its a great book in my opinion...it shows how u can work your way up to riches but the people who already were born into riches still wont respect you the same way......u gotta read it man.....I recommend it.......Originally Posted by Serius

^Pleasure reading can still stimulate your mind.I read how reading can help with your memory process too.So there is a point in reading not just for informational use..I don't know about yall but if I'm having a long day at school or something I just come home and read.It relaxes me.
