HHG Battle League

Okay, we've had tourny's, never a league though.

I mean everything has a league, right?

Basically take 20 names of battlers who want in, and we'll create a league.

I dunno where the perma thread/Battle Table will be placed but y'know, I guess in the Battle Section, maybe a sticky.

5 points for a win.
2 points for an automatic disqualification.
0 for a loss.

Each battle that is a Battle League match will have to be titled differently from other non-league battles, something like... "Battle League: Opposition Vs. Opponent", pretty simple, no?

There always has to be a winner, so I guess we can set a certain ammount of points for a winner. Let's say, for arguments sake.. 100. That's 20 wins to take the Battle League title, after the Battle League title has been won the bottom 3-5 of the table will get kicked off and 3-5 new people can join the league, so it keeps it fresh. To win the title, you must battle EVERYONE in the league.

Each battle can't be under 10 lines or over 20 lines.

If an opponent doesn't show up after 48 hours is an automatic disqualification.
This is just a rough idea of how it goes, give me feedback and let me know what you think.

That actually don't sound bad, but i think we should mix it up a bit....we should have like, 5 teams of 4 or something....we pick 5 captains, out of every1 that wants in we pick the 5 best...they the captains....they take turns pickin who they want on their team...their teams battle other teams, so u can have a record for the league and ur team can have a record....we can do captains, or have a midwest team/UK team/south team/NY team/etc......or just do captains?

Can't do region teams, as there's a lack of battlers, and picked teams, all the best will just pick eachother, I see where you're coming from on the teams idea though, but it'll have to be fair for everyone if the teams get picked.

i think picked teams would work....one team couldn't pick all the ppl they wanted right away....say there was 4 captains, #1 gets first pick...then the next guy gets 2nd...next gets 3rd...etc...they take turns pickin who they want...this would make it close to even, and would be something different....doin it individually i don't think would be as interesting, but thats up to the people ot decide

i prefer da idea of crews mayne...i think da best should form up and go against da best...similar to da concept of a league minus da captains spread out...people would def take notice if mayor and weeded was on da same squad for example...i'd def come out of retirement for dat shit

to make it fair the best MCs on HHG will be the captians so the crew can be balanced

If we make the 5 or 4 best all the captains tho it would work out (Mayor, Weeded, etc.), then we could just split up the rest.

well lets start making a list of people in here, then we can pick out who should be the captains....lets make this a good league though, think premier league...not MLS...

if we did 4 teams of 4, thats almost half the league right there

Battle League...Doesn't matter how many ppl there are...the are no teams its week by week after 4 or 5 weeks there is a champ match pretty simple
