Disturbing reports about a some well-known H-Town rapper who allegedly infected his girl with HIV has been making rounds on the internet for a while now. Since SOHH Houston is all about the Bayou City hip-hop, it's only appropriate that we try and figure out who this lucky rapper is. Honestly, your boy is far from a rumor expert, that title belongs to someone else. But, after doing extensive researches and talking to several "bout-it, bout-it" folks in the city, I've come to the conclusion that this mysterious rapper is really not that mysterious at all.

According to mediatakeout.com:

" The woman found the prescription drugs Combivir and Sustiva tucked away in the rapper's sock drawer.
The two drugs are part of a cocktail of drugs commonly used to combat the effects of the HIV virus.
When she confronted the rapper about the medication, he reportedly denied that the medication was his - even though his name was on the bottles.

The following day the woman took an HIV test and was diagnosed with the deadly virus."


Dead giveaway: the 23-year-old lady who tested positive to the lethal disease claims she was in a committed relationship with a prominent rapper for two years. Currently, there are so many prominent rappers from H-Town but, that depends on your definition of 'prominent.'

Scarface - He's been around for too long. If he was going to infect someone with HIV, he would have done so a long time ago, probably back when he was still known as Ak'shun. Plus, the man doesn't fool around anymore. Eliminated from the list.

Lil' Flip - Fits the description of a prominent rapper. Plus, he's lost mad weight recently. Suspect.

Z-Ro - Even though Z-Ro is like a god in Houston, I doubt that this lady would consider him a prominent rapper. Besides, with his grim demeanor and non-committal songs like "1 Night" and "I Hate U Bitch," it's very unlikely that the Guerilla Maab vet would have allowed himself to be tied down with the same girl for two years. Eliminated!

Mike Jones - Mike Who? has been very, very quiet lately. Suspect.

Chamillionaire - By industry standards, Chamillionaire is the hottest H-Town rapper out right now. The Sound of Revenge has just been certified platinum. But, what's mind-boggling is that the victime filed her lawsuit shortly before "Ridin'" became the #1 song in the country. Also, a friend of mine who talked to a very close friend of Chamillionaire's confirmed to me that Koopa recently broke up with a girl he was dating for a long time. Suspect.

Paul Wall - Not that marriage cleanses one of all atrocities, but, it's unlikely that he was fooling around with another girl and busy getting his wife pregnant at the same time. Eliminated.

Slim Thug - According to SOHH Ya Heard, Slim Thugga has been showing folks his HIV test to prove that he's not the one, since he's name was brought up a couple of times.

As depressing as this shit sounds, my bet is on the following rappers:

Edit: Someone brought up a good point in the comment section about Chamillionaire's song, "They Think I'm Crazy," where he narrates a story about a guy who actually transmitted AIDS to his girlfriend. Many of you are sounding crazy. Since the girl found the meds then dude shouldn't be losing weight because of the infection. Full blown AIDS is another story.

While people are now living with AIDS they do still get sick and die. People who are HIV positive may not ever get sick if they take the meds. AIDS does make you lose weight due to lack of appetite.

AIDS/HIV doesn't cure drug addiction or compulsive weed smoking or sex drive. The fact that he still smokes weed doesn't make him HIV negative. You youngsters are living at a differant time.

Now that they have the meds you are not seeing all the sickness & death. I graduated at the very beginning of the crack epidemic and just around the time where people infected in the early days started dropping off.

You have no idea how many gays, hustlers/ghetto chicks and crack heads in my small hood lost their lives to this disease. They looked like death and even with all those lesions on their faces and shit the crack hos was still hoin' and the hustlers was still tappin them.

If you are from the hood where people ain't gettin no meds or won't take them you will see it to. We had an enlightened stage for a minute, but the meds are making us careless so the death will be back. Mark my words. Lil Flip & his alleged victims won't be the only casualties.

I read something yesterday about one of them messing with trannys' back in HS but I think it was internet rumors.
