I´ve been doing some voluntary work in the slums in Lima. First building and painting a school for little kids, and then been bringing materials and shit, and helping out teaching there. Some other projects to do with cleaning up the environment there as well (Lima is the most horrible, polluted fucking place ever). Man I love South America, feeling to come back when I made my money and settle down here. The women are beautiful, the weather and food are great, the weed is peng and everythings so goddamn cheap!

Like I´m living with the family of this woman who works for the charity, and my area´s like a pretty standard middle class area of any European or N.American city, and theres certain areas of Lima that come like Beverly Hills or some shit, but then on the other hand, 50% of the city live without water, electricity or gas in their homes. For example, where I´ve been working, theres 600 families with one water pump. The contrast between different areas is ridiculous. The fuckery thing is, when you go to the nicest areas, the people look much more European, but in the vast majority of the city you wont see a single white person, yet nearly everyone on TV is white. The inequalities are shocking.
Very few people got internet in their homes, most people go to internet cafes, although the machines are all recycled and made up of different models and parts. Everything is fake as well, its joke.
The only thing I dont like is there´s no hip hop in Peru! Fucking reggaeton all the time, although it does get the Latinas hype, which is always a good thing.
I´m leaving on Tuesday though, to go Rio de Janeiro for a month too. My Spanish is almost fluent now, need to learn Portuguese.
When I get back, I´ll up some pictures and shit.
