anyway, to spark a little more talk on the pros and cons of religion here are a few unjust happenings and such that religious freaks impose upon the world...

Genocide in darfur, Curtailing of first amendment rights, Attacks of september 11th, Court mandated memberships to religious "cults" such as alcoholics anonymous, The tax-exempt status of churches, Faith-based initiatives, Gods name invoked on our currency and in our pledge of allegiance, Abortion clinics bombed, Abortion rights repealed, Stem-cell research funding truncated and much much more

science doesn't mean knowledge, it means the study of the physical and natural world through observation and deduction. science understands that we only know what we've seen and there's always a chance of our eyes tricking us, so yes, you could say that all science is theoretical because it's based on systems created by humans. not arguing, just spitting facts.

Satan's work? Evolution is real, can you disprove it? Go look at the fossils and such, go look at all the fucking evidence. Do your research, read about the big bang theory before concluding what you believe on such. You believe it's devil's work yet you have no proof for this. Damn you god-fearing folk are so irrational. I stand for truth, rationality, intellegence, understanding, science, faith in mankind and a future universe...an amalgam of great things that religion either neglects or shuns. Science is not "anything" it is "something" in your reasoning. If you are going to state points on why god exists please be logical.

It used to be a vital yet often cruel way of keeping the order 2000+ years ago, but it is mostly irrelevant to further understanding and knowledge of existence and the future study of the cosmos in which we reside. I do not shun religion, I understand that the idea of a god being there to look over you is comforting to some people and they accept that blindly to be self-confident or whatever the case. Not everyone is cut out to be a skeptic in our society for some reason. I'm far too inexperienced and young to understand such things. Skepticism is not a form of weakness to clarify. It gives me strength in knowing what I know is truth and nothing less. My faith and beliefs go into theories which I experiment and philosophize on to the best of my abilities. Whilst the theists faith goes toward repetitive readings of the same scriptures, self-interpretation of an irrelevant doctrine, wasting of good time, hindering their capability to rationalize with the laws of nature, buying into superstitious or otherwise mythical stories which have been derived from Greek pagan religions. If you look back into history, religion has been used in many cases to control civilizations. It is being used by Islamic extremists/Mid-eastern terrorists and Christian evangelists to teach children that they are the next generation to fight in the army of allah/god. I do not want this kind of infectious, disease-like plague affecting the world. I hold great disdain for Religion but do not look down upon those who choose to be god-fearing. It indeed takes a strong mind to have faith in something you cannot prove...as much of a strong mind that it takes to not believe in such a tale and be skeptical of everything claimed with no logical basis or evidence.

It is only stated in the bible it is never proven, in fact there is much evidence to be established still to this day that was never in existence according to logical research. I don't believe you know the bible as well as you claim you do. I know it has fallacies and I know there is a great deal of metaphorical talk and exaggerated story telling in such religious doctrines. Hey religion was good 2000+ years ago for bringing people together and so on, but now the human brain has developed we have "evolved" and become a more intelligent species to realising science is the way to go we are slowly going down that path. No props can be given to religion here.
Evolution is true, a religious person wants to debate all the time but pls don't bother.
When I have to do a Uni assignment I have to reference credible unbiased sources or all my information to back up my argument or the points that I have raised.
Religious doctrine was not written by a genius of the time and also they are biased read 1 page and it is not hard to spot bias and the illogicality it is all based on.
